Chapter 10 | Im Here For You

Yesterday when I was at Ophelia's Coraline's boyfriend seemed familiar but I just can't put my finger at it.

Today is the day I left home and usually I celebrate this day because of all the trauma they caused me but today I feel really down about it and nothing can cheer me up,I've been in bed since 4am and not once did I fall asleep, the memories never stopped coming I thought about calling Ophelia but I couldn't
,she wouldn't want to listen to me babbling about something that happened years ago, she'll just hate me even more then she already does

At 9am my phone rang and I wasn't going to pick it up but when I saw Ophelia's name on the phone I ran to answer it
"Hey Grayson whatsup"
"Hey scary lady, what's the occasion for you to call me this early"
"Marshall wants us to work another bounty and I feel suspicious about this one"
"Oh wow tell me more"
"Come to my place in 5 we'll discuss it here"
"On it"
I got ready and went to Ophelia's door when I found another car waiting outside with what seems like an Alexander inside
"Yo bro here to pick up Caroline?" I said while I got closer to his car
"Yeah actually she's spending the day at my place"
"Wow good for you dude you guys sound inlove"
He smiled and looked down with a pink pigment on his cheeks
"Yeah you can say that, she's perfect"
"Well I'm happy for you bro, you told me you were from Germany right"
"Mhm yeah why do you ask"
"Well I'm from Germany too, we may be closer then you think"
"Youd be surprised on how close"
"Huh?"
"Nevermind it's not that important"
"No ple..."just as I was going to convince him to tell me Caroline came out with a dress that has strawberries with her glowing hair
"Hey Grayson, seems like you and Ophelia are spending a lot of time together"
"Well we have a case to work on"
"Ah yes a case whatever you call it"

I got inside and Ophelia sat us down in the living room since no one was home
"So Ophelia what's the case for today"
"What's wrong you seem down?"
"Nothing I just didn't sleep much that's all"
"Don't lie to me what's wrong?"
"It's nothing I swear"
"Do you really not trust me one bit?
"Of course I trust your one of the only people I trust"
" If you do why aren't you telling me Grayson"
"Because I ran from home on this day and usually I'm really happy about it but today I'm not, I don't know why and it's driving crazy and I didn't want to tell you because I don't want you to get bored of me because I don't want you to leave me, your the only one that's making me feel this way and I hate it" I said with pain and anger in my voice.

She froze and I felt tears fall but I wiped then the minute they did so she wouldn't notice, she did nothing but got up and came beside me she sat and just put her head on my lap and whispered
"Words won't help you right now but believe me when I say I'm here for you Grayson and I will never get bored and leave you for such reason I want you to understand that I'll always be here for you"

We stayed there for almost an hour, me playing with her hair and her relaxed, laying her head on my thigh

I try to move but she doesn't move with me I call out her name but she doesn't respond, I look at her and realize she's asleep
Shes so perfect when she's asleep, her long hair messy on her face, she looks at peace,
I carefully move her head and put it on a pillow, I get a throw on that I found on the couch to cover her up so she won't be cold
Shes so perfect I wish she realizes how amazing she is
I left her a note saying
"Hey Ophelia since your reading this you woke up I hope I wasn't the one to wake you up, I know I might've said alot today and I'm sorry if that freaked you out but I do care about you, I don't know if it's the right thing for both of us right now and I think it's best to postpone whatever happened between us
whatever happened between us we both need a break from each other until we know what we want and need right now
I hope you understand where all this is coming from,

I actually teared up writing that because that's not what I want, I want her to call me mine I want to kiss her whenever I want, whenever she wants, she really is addictive I hope she understands because if I lose her I don't know what might happen
