MARIANA POV:
As I got on with the rest of my day and getting books from other stores I constantly remembered Cristiano and his son I don't know I just felt a connection or some sort of calmness when I spoke to Cristiano but I didn't think about them to much as they were just other normal costumers and he probably had a wife or girlfriend at home and my life was to busy to be worried about someone I had just met as I went back into the store and arrived as usual to see Aria and Michael.
"Mariana you won't believe it we met Cristiano Ronaldo! And he even signed our jerseys we were waiting to tell you I swear did you see him? No actually did you talk to him we sent him to talk to you." Aria said to me excitedly "Yeah that one guy I mean he's just another guy with his son he's a nice guy what's up with him?" I asked not really paying attention or caring what a guy I just met does or why he was even signing peoples jerseys "Mariana I already told you this Cristiano Ronaldo the Futbol-" Aria said before being cut off by another customer walking in which distracted us both from finishing our conversations and finishing work and helping costumers out as Michael scanned through the computer at any new book purchases.
By the time work ended it was 11:58 and I usually was alone by then too first at work and the last to end and close up the store as I closed up the store turned off the lights helped the last costumers checked over if I left anytime and got into my car as I drove home and entered my house "Hey Mariana ." I heard my brother say "I don't have time to speak now Gabriel I'm tired and just came back from work." I said as I dropped my bag on the kitchen counter "I know but I was wondering if.." He said not continuing his sentence "What is it Gabriel hurry so I can get to bed." I said at him as I looked through my bag "Mariana I got some Manchester United meet and greet tickets and I was wondering if you wanted to come with me it's tomorrow." He said as he looked at me desperately.
"Gabriel you know I don't watch Futbol and also I have work tomorrow sorry but you're going to have to ask one of your friends I can't cut my paycheck just to go to some random meet and greet." I said looking up at him "I know what you were going to say anyways I was thinking of asking one of my friends anyways.." He said walking away from me as I sighed and walked upstairs to my room and changed into my pajamas and laid down in bed "What if I did go with Gabriel?" I thought to myself before reminding myself money was something I needed more right now then meeting random people as I closed my eyes and rested myself falling asleep.
