Hanzo POV

I woke up to my alarm the next morning, set for 7am.

Immediately, Cassidy popped up in my head. I picked up my phone and texted him, "Hiya."

I got up from my bed and folded my clothes, I was probably going to go in the shower soon so it'd be best if I had them set out already.

After a few minutes I noticed he hadn't replied yet, this confused me.

Wasn't it like 17:00 (5pm) for him, was he ignoring me?

I went back onto my phone and texted him, ":<." and waited. I put my phone down and all of a sudden heard the, "Ding." notification sound.

I turned it back on and saw he had finally replied, "Hey sorry, I was speaking to my dad."

"No worries." I told him, I understand if he has other things to do other than text me.

"Why are you up so early anyway, isn't it like 7am for you?" He asked me.

I looked a little confused, "This is the time I always wake up." I knew Americans were lazy but not so lazy that 7am was early for them?

I decided to change the subject and say, "Anyway, you said we could play :["

"Oh yeah I did, let me just finish eating and then I'll get on." I smiled at my phone before replying, "Alright, I will wait."

I got kind of bored of waiting after like 30 seconds and I hadn't showered or brushed my teeth yet so I decided to just do that whilst waiting.

I walked into my bathroom and turned the tap on, wetting my toothbrush. I made sure to brush for 2 minutes exactly and when I had finished I washed my face and hopped into the shower.

The water was a nice temperature, not too hot and not too cold. I finished about 10 minutes later and stepped out, wrapping myself in a towel.

When I had got into my room I got dressed into a plain white t-shirt and some sweatpants and turned on my console.

I saw 2 invites from Cassidy and accepted. He started, "What took you so long?" He sounded a bit disappointed.

"Sorry I was in the shower." I told him. He took a second before replying, "Alright it's fine, let's play?"

I hummed happily in agreement and he put us in a queue. Whilst we were waiting Cassidy asked me, "So Hanzo.. do you have any social medias like Instagram? Just so we can message there instead of on here..?"

I chuckled lightly and said, "Yes, my Instagram is 島田半蔵." I heard him clear his throat before saying, "Um yeah..  I dont really understand what you said. How about I just give you mine?"

I giggled and agreed, he gave me his Instagram and I followed it. He hadn't followed me back yet so I assumed he'd do it after the game.

We finally got in a game, "Rialto."

I hadn't play this map yet, so I was a bit confused. I saw somebody on the enemy team using the same character as Cassidy.

So, when I killed him I tried befriending him by crouching on his body. I think he also wanted to be friends because he did the same. How nice!

All of a sudden Cassidy asked me, "Why are they tbagging you?" I didn't know what that meant so I asked him.

"What??" He paused for a second, "I mean when they crouch on your dead body."

My eyes widened a little and I frowned, "I thought that meant friend?"

Suddenly, burst out laughing. I was kind of offended by this, is that not what it meant?

He just responded with, "Nevermind." And I figured he was just lying so I friended that person.

They didnt friend me back though, I wonder why?

We played a few more rounds before Cassidy started, "Hey Hanzo, I'm going to get off the game now but if you want to we can call on Instagram for a while?"

He sounded a little nervous, I just chuckled and replied, "Sure, I will call you when you get off."

"Alright, see you." He said, clearing his throat.

I saw he went offline and followed me back Instagram. I paused for a second before going into the dms to call him, what if it was super awkward?

I checked his profile, he actually looked kind of good. I felt my face burn a little, I quickly went off his profile and just called him.

He picked up almost immediately, "Hey." He said, his southern accent thick as ever. "Hello.." I replied, a little nervous.

After seeing how good he looked it made me kind of.. scared? To talk to him.

Not in a way that HE'S scary, just the fact he is like, way out of my league. Not that I like him or anything...

"You sound nervous, something happen since we last spoke?" He asked, chuckling a little.

"No, I just.. don't know what to talk about?" I said, trying to make up an excuse.

He just huffed a little before saying, "Don't worry about it, I'll do the talking. I know English isn't your first langauge."

He sounded super genuine, it made my stomach fill with butterflies. I just replied with, "Sure.."

We spoke for hours, and he was so fun to talk to. When he said he had to go, I turned my phone off and laid on my back sighing dreamily.

I don't even know why I'm thinking like this, It's not like he's gay or anything.. what if he likes that Olivia girl he was playing with when we first met or something?

If I keep thinking about it it'll just make me more upset, I shouldn't even have a crush on somebody I only know over the internet.

I mean, it doesn't really count though, because we've seen eachothers faces. Or at least I assume he's seen mine because its on my page.

Anyway, it was now 1pm for me and I missed lunch. So I just decided to order something.

After ordering I decided to text Cassidy. I knew it was like 23:00 (11pm) for him so I turned on my phone and texted him, "Goodnight :3".

I tend to use faces like that a lot, I personally find them cute, even though a lot of people find them cringe.

I don't know if Cassidy thought they were but until he told me whether he found them cringy I'll keep using them.
