"Di..Is everything ready? I have an important deal today..Hurry up"said Arnav Singh Raizada,The ASR of fashion industry to his sister Anjali..
Anjali smiled and shooked he read. He and his deals. She just closed her eyes praying that someone would come to his life, who would fill his life with smiles. Laughter was a far fetched prayer even for Devi maa..
Anjali and Arnav reached the Devi Mata Temple. Arnav helped Anjali with the plates and stood outside waiting for her to finish her prayers..
There she was. A girl wearing blue salwar, with white dupatta. He looked as she stepped down the stairs of the temple. Donot know why,he took a second look at that simple girl..
ASR,the king of fashion world,on whom countless models, superstars were dying, took a second glance of a simple girl. It was a miracle in itself. If Aman was there, then he would have fainted for sure..
Arnav left Anjali at home, then went to office. But that white dupatta stayed in his mind. Mindlessly he sat, with his sketch book, and pencil. And as he saw her,his hand moved. When he finished,he had drawn a beautiful design of lehenga. He knew it would look beautiful in simple blue and white, with satin or silk as material.
"ASR,this file needs your signature"said Aman as he came inside without knocking. It was his special privilege that even Akash did not have ..
"Wow..ASR..Did you draw it?"asked Aman as he saw Arnav holding a sketch pad after a very long time..
Arnav just nodded and handed him the paper on which he had drawn. Aman kept observing it from different angles..
"It would have been better if you had used colour to draw it ASR. Though it's beautiful,it's not complete now"said Aman after observing it..
"Ask Miss Kashyap to use blue and white and silk, satin to make this design. They can also use other colours such as orange and black, red and white, black and pink and see the harmony. But ask them to send me the designs first before finalizing"Arnav said while his eyes scanned the reports he needed to sign..
Aman sighed. Workoholic. He doesn't even leave a chance for him to tease the man. Only work..
"By the way, what inspired you after so long to draw again?"Aman asked teasing..
Arnav put down the file he had finished signing.
"Something. May be the sky and cloud. You never know"said ASR,a perfect smirk playing on his lips. He knew his best friend very well.
Aman pouted a little but accepted the explanation. Soon Lavanya send Arnav the files with the design. He approved some, rejected some. Corrected some. And soon a new collection was on its way. Efficient worker of efficient boss..
Arnav did not go to the temple for the week. His mind warned him. It was a red signal already. Yet late at nights he laid awake on his recliner blank..
Next week he saw her again. This time her yellow salwar, with red dupatta. The pompoms on her sleeves, the long braid of her hair,he observed everything. Her eyes were lined with Kohl. Her lips were pink, not red. No lipstick. No make up. No high heels. Just a simple girl. She was stopping the auto on his way to office next day. He marked the time. Then everyday he saw her. And the vibrancy of colour around her. It made him feel something. He knew it was wrong. First of all he was allergic of love. And he could tell, she came from a very different background. And she was not up for dates or more. She needed commitment. Marriage . Yet he was not ready for that. After what happened with his mother,he was not ready to get into that constitution.
Yet he could not help himself when she came before him. In that pure white dress, she was buying Puja things. A strand of her hair was disturbing her. And she was trying hard to put it away..
Then she saw him. Both almost collided. Time stood still.. Her eyes, they started at him, with pure adoration and devotion. He gulped. What did he just see. How can a girl have that in her eyes for him?
She left, but not without a smile. And Arnav Singh Raizada knew,he had to talk to her. He had to..
