And They Were Roommates

Time: 11:00 AM, November 6th

Place: 103 auditorium of Wolfston's university

Madison has arrived at the auditorium where social history is about to take place. As always, the professor is always late by at least 5-10 minutes to the lecture, so Madison just stares off from a window to see a beautiful day, the football team playing in the field while the cheerleader team is hyping them up. He also notices a group of girls just talking to each other and watching the guys playing the game.

Madison: *thinking* "What a bunch of idiots. Simping for men who'll never notice them. It's just sad honestly."

Madison: *mutters under his breath* "What a waste of time."

A classmate: *to Madison* "Excuse me, bud, is this seat taken?"

Madison turns around to the source of the voice to see a handsome man standing in front of him. The boy had blue gray eyes and light cool brown colored hair. The classmate was wearing a white shirt, black vest, a silver medallion, light brown pants and black shoes. He also had round glasses on his nose. His posture was confident but approachable at the same time. His classmate was basically perfect for anyone up for grabs when it came to looks and Madison knew it.

Madison: *thinking* "Wow, he's handsome. Very handsome. Like a prince."

A classmate: "Um, is everything ok? I could find another seat, you know?"

Madison: *snaps back into reality* "Oh, no no, everything's fine. You can sit near me."

A classmate: *smiles at Madison warmly* "Ah, what a relief."

The classmate sits on the unoccupied chair next to Madison.

A classmate: "You know, it would be kind of weird for me to sit alone."

Madison: "Really? I thought you wouldn't mind."

A classmate: "Oh, why is that?"

Madison: "Well, I don't know... Why would you sit with me anyways?"

A classmate: "I thought you were a cool person to talk to."

Madison couldn't believe his ears.

Madison: *thinking* "What? Does this man really think that I'm cool to talk to?"

Madison: "Really? No way."

A classmate: "Yes, really,"

They both chuckled.

A classmate: "Oh, I haven't introduced myself. I'm Brandon."

Madison: "Oh, nice to meet you, Brandon, I'm Madison."

Brandon: "Madison? Hmmm, I heard that name somewhere... Ah, I remember now. You have a quite reputation."

Madison: "Wait, what? What do you mean by that?"

Brandon: "Well, a lot of our classmates say that you're smart and helpful to everyone when it comes to the assignments and such."

Madison: "Oh.. well, yes, I do that haha. And what about you? I've never really noticed you in class. *mutters under his breath* Not that I care or anything."

Brandon doesn't say anything and just looks at Madison.

Brandon: "Let me be honest here, Madison. I didn't really attend the lectures, since they would pretty much be boring. Don't get me wrong, I care about my grades and all but I didn't find the necessity to attend classes when I can just study at my dorm."
