he stepped through the portal and came back five minutes later.

hobies pov:
I went through the portal and grabbed her meds. it took a minute to find them but I did. I walked back through the portal and she wasn't there.

"kyoka?" i whisper-yelled.
no answer.
"kyoka?!" i just yelled that time. frantically looking for her.

i run into the bathroom.
not there.
i run into Neds room.
not there.

"kyo.. ka" i tried to say but my voice didnt let me.

i ran into the kitchen.
she's here.
i let out a sigh of relief. but whys she on the floor?

"kyoka? luv?" i walk up to her. my eyes filling with horror. "luv.. please no."

she was laying on the floor with an empty box of pills in her right hand. her left hand had a note in it, I picked up the note and read it.

im sorry for everything. I wish i could come back but it's not that easy. I miss you all.

"kyoka? luv. wake up" i shook her alittle and her eyes started to move. "luv? please" i shook her more and the pills fell out of her hand. the name and label couldn't be read.

"hob.. ie?" she whispered to me.

"yes love. im here." i kissed her cheek and sat in front of her.

"what happened?" she muttered as she grabbed my hand and put it on her cheek.

"i dont know." i sighed. she tried to get up but her arms n legs didnt let her.

"i wanna go home. I want gwen, miles and pav." she slowly got up and put her head on my lap.

"okay luv. get some sleep and ill take you tomorrow." i smiled at her. I picked her up and put her on the sofa. I tried to walk away but she grabbed my hand and pulled me back. "hm?"

"stay.." she whispered. "stay with me." she grabbed my hand tighter and pulled me more.

"okay. I'll stay" i smiled anf layed on the other side of the sofa.

"wait." she crawled over to me and put her head on my chest, her arm around my neck and her leg over mine. "better now."

i smiled and put my hands on her back. we fell both fell asleep almost instantly.

gwens pov; at HQ.

"miles? is she gonna be okay?" i asked miles as we sat at my desk. him on the chair and me on my desk.

"yea. she's strong. She'll be okay" he reassured me.

"i hope so. I know we barely know her but she's important to hobie." i sighed and went to sit on my bed. miles joined me and hugged me.

"she'll be fine. I know she will" he smiled.

in the morning. kyokas pov:

i woke up on hobies chest. I smiled and woke him up.
"hobes? wake up" i shook him awake and he groaned.

"hm?" he hummed at me.

"time to go home." i smiled at him. he smiled back and got up.

"okay luv. let's go home."  he said in a low voice.

he opened a portal and carried me through it. it felt like I was on drugs. I wasn't used to it.

gwens pov:

i saw a portal open in HQ. hobie was carrying kyoka through it. I shrieked and ran up to them.

"hobie! kyoka! your okay!" i cried as i hugged them. I texted pav and miles telling them to come to the lobby.

not even a minute later they came in swinging.

"whats wrong?!" they both shouted. they haven't seen hobie or kyoka yet. hobie was about to speak but kyoka put her finger to his mouth and smiled evily.

"what happened?!" miles shouted. pav tried to turn around but i stopped him and hugged them both. hobie put kyoka down and they both wrapped their webs over miles and pav.

"hey." kyoka basically whispered. pav and miles turned around and looked shocked. hobie and kyoka pulled them in and hugged them. hobie hugging miles and kyoka hugging pav.

"hey!!" miles and pav both shouted at the same time.

"shhh. Miguel doesnt know im here." kyoka said. we came up with a plan to suprise him.

we got lyla to tell Miguel that something important was in the. lobby and he needed to be there fast. kyoka stuck herself on the ceiling behind where Miguel would stand.

"what?! what happened!" Miguel shouted. kyoka swung behind him and tapped his shoulder. be spun around on his heel and looked ready to fight.

"hey Miguel." she smiled.
"kyoka." Miguel's face softened and he hugged her. he... smiled?
"hi" she hugged him back and started crying.
"are you okay?" he asked her while examing her.
"yeah. im okay." she smiled. "but um.. lylas taking pictures." she started laughing as Miguel turned around to see lyla on his watch taking pictures with a bunny filter on.
"i dont care." he said as he turned his watch off. "as long as your safe."
