A/N: the edits are the dialogue, I've been trying to improve so Im sorry if it's not perfect, it's the one thing I'm weakest at writing I'm afraid. Also I'm sorry if anyone likes the characters Crabbe, Goyle and Adrian I just needed some Slytherin that are likely to be friends. Y/N (Amber) finds out her boyfriend adrian was only with her for a bet.

Amber POV:

Me and Blaise have been enemies since we both started Hogwarts, it's been 5 years and I can't remember as to why. anyway, back to the current day, I'm currently dating Adrian Pucey, so I'm in the Slytherin common room quite a lot meaning I see Blaise quite a lot and by that, I mean every day.

Recently Adrian has been distant with me, more distant than he usually is cancelling dates, not spending time with me, he's always with other girls. Before we got together, he did have quite the reputation for being a player and fuckboy, only using women for a quick fuck and then leaving them. When we got together, I was sceptical given his reputation, but he assured me that he had changed and I believed, but now I'm not so sure.

It's our 3-month anniversary coming up and he know how much he wanted a new broomstick for quidditch because his was an old one and he wasn't able to keep up with the other players. So, for our anniversary I bought him the new broom he desperately wanted. Leaving it in my dorm so it doesn't ruin the surprise for him in two days.

Finally, the last lesson of the day: potions with Gryffindor and Slytherin, this'll be fun considering my partner in the class is none other than Blaise fucking Zabini. This lesson is going to be absolute hell. As I'm walking to potions, I see Adrian stood talking with his friends and as I pass, I accidentally overhear part of the conversation which breaks my heart into a million pieces.

Adrian is bragging to his friends, "guys, I made her fall in love with me is less than 3 months, I won the bet. and she didn't find out about the fact that I've been fucking daphne Greengrass behind her back for the past two months." Crabbe chuckles at his words before having over some money to him, "we'll find mate, here's the 40 galleons we owe you."

I stood there just frozen in place with tears silently streaming down my face. They turn around slowly and are startled when they see me. I see Crabbe and Goyle smirk at me, and Adrian looks at me, I don't think he realises I was there and heard what he said so he tries to act as if nothing happened, "hey babe, how are you?"

I look at him in disbelief, I don't know what came over me, but I just slap in his face hard before spitting in his face with venom dripping in my tone, "we're fucking done, stay away from me!"

I walk off and go to potions with tears still streaming down my face, I'm so thankful that me and Blaise sit at the back of class and that he's really good at potions because I just want to sit down and lay my head on the desk because I can't be asked now, I really did care about Adrian, however, recently I have been gaining romantic feelings towards Blaise Zabini.

I walk into potions with 10 minutes to spare and see that Blaise is already here with his friends, I keep my head down and sot down in my seat, laying my head on the desk ignoring Blaise and his friends. With my head I miss all the concerned looks from him and his friends, that is until Adrian walks in pissed off, grabbing my arm and pulling me up, and going to drag me out the classroom, but Blaise stops him. Causing adrian to glare at him and snap, "Blaise mate this has nothing to do with you let me deal with my girlfriend okay?"

The fact that he is still trying to call me his girlfriend gets to me causing me to snap at him, "I'm your ex-girlfriend and there's nothing to talk about, leave me alone."

Blaise looks at me in shock and looks back at Adrian, "you heard what she said, let her go and leave." He reluctantly lets go of my arm and leaves the room, the second he's out the room I resume my previous position, completely ignoring Blaise and his friends because I'm just not in the mood to deal with them right now. Tears are still silently streaming down my face. After about five minutes I just can't take it anymore, I get up and look at the boys, "please can one of you tell Snape I felt ill and had to go to back to my dorm?"

Mattheo looks over at me and nods his head slowly, "yeah, it's fine I'll let him know for you." I smile at him and thank him for saying he will. 

I walk out the door and start walking back to my dorm when I feel someone grabbing my arm from behind and pull me into a corridor that not a lot of people go down. I turn around ready to punch them but see its Blaise, looking down at me with concern on his face, "what happened between you and Adrian?" I shake my head and tear up, "Blaise why do you care?" He looks at me deadly serious before responding, "cause your upset and I want to know why I have to go beat him up."

His words leave me in shock because Adrian is one of his close friends, "Blaise you don't need to beat him up because of me." Blaise doesn't  like that answer because he asks me again what happened. I sigh knowing that I have no choice but to tell him, "it turns out that he was using me to win a bet between him, Crabbe and Goyle, and he was fucking daphne Greengrass behind my back for the last two months." My voice breaks halfway through telling him and the tears start rolling down my cheeks.

I look down to hide the embarrassment of having Blaise seeing me cry. But Blaise's next words make me look up at him to see if he's being serious, "I'm going to fucking kill him, he doesn't get to do that to you and the get away with it, its not right." Maybe he might care about me, I doubt it but he might do. I have to question why he'd beat up one of his friends because they had a get on me, "what do you care, you hate me?"

His face softens when I say that and he rests his hand on my cheek gently, instinctually I lean into his hand. He smiles at me before softly saying, "oh angel I could never hate you, in fact I would probably go as far as to say that I'm in love you sweetheart."

I'm in absolute shock, I always thought he hated me, I guess I was wrong, I've always felt the same way about him as well. I lean in and kiss him slowly, he hesitantly kisses me back and deepens it, pushing me against the wall. Breaking it only for air.

Once we've caught our breaths he smiles down at me, "God, I've been wanting to do that for ages my love. do you want to be my girlfriend?"

I jump into his arms wrapping my legs around his waist, his hands automatically go to my ass to support me and hold me up. "Yes, I do, I've wanted to do that for a while as well."

He carries me back to his dorm room and passes me one of his hoodies, "here princess put this on, it'll be more comfortable for you my darling."

I smile at his loving actions, already feeling more loved than when I was with Adrian, "thank you babe."

I take it gently and pit it on, laying down in bed with him and laying on his chest gently. He plays with my hair gently and questions, "are you comfortable?"

He is an absolute sweetheart, "yes, thank you for the comfort."

He smiles at my words, "don't worry about its angel okay."

We share a gentle kiss and fall asleep together.
