its been 2 years since i heard from durk. the last time we interacted was so hurtful to my mental health. ive been in therapy for a year now and i feel different in a way. i see him on tv and ive seen him on instagram, to be honest i cant escape that man even if i wanted to. he's bigger than before and without any bitterness, im so proud of him. i always feel bad about leaving bella and putting her in the middle but i had to do whats best for myself.
**phone rings**

"hello, is this samia?"

"Great! im calling you on behalf of your business. we want to do a collaboration with you and your makeup line. we want to do a showcase of it at a New York City Venue."
"oh my god, thats amazing! id love to do the collab. when is a good time?"
"i was thinking july 21st? is that good with you?
"yeah thats perfect!"
"great! we'll be in touch"
after the phone call all i could think about is durk. he promoted my business to so many outlets. i guess because i was new to the business industry they didnt take me seriously but they wanted to do collabs with him and he always turned them down for me.

"girl working. you know i gotta get to the bag."
"i know thats right friend. anyways, i got a call saying a company wanna do a showcase of my products with me!!"
"what?? you been waiting for this moment for years. im so happy for you!"
this, was my best friend, kesha. she so ghetto yet so supportive of everything i do except in one aspect..
"so.. did you tell.. you know durk?"
"i knew you was gonna say that shit. kesha i dont wanna talk to him"
"girl why? he's wanted this moment for you and helped you get here why dont you just let the man know about the good things thats happening to you?"
"first of all, i got here with or without him and you really should just drop it."
