me and durk have been together for 4 years and we have two kids together. we havent brought up marriage because he says he dont believe in marriage. he believes that our love and kids are enough for us and that he has enough on his plate as it is. i love him alot and our relationship is stable and we make good money together but the fact i dont got a wifey ass ring to prove it? yeah he needa fix that shit.. hopefully one day.
"yo k! where are you at mama?" durk said screaming.
"damn boy im right here what you screaming like that for?" i said.
"what you got going on today? got any business shit that you lingering around?" he said.
"i mean i have a couple of meetings to go to with the salon and everything being back up." i said.
"yeah you gon needa reschedule that shit babe. im scooping you for the day. and dont worry about the kids my moms is coming over to babysit. i'll be back in like an hour to pick you up ight? wear something real nice..yeah" he said giving me a kiss on my lips. "i gotta go, ill be back"
thats why i love durk he was always so sweet. every time he saw me working he hated it. he wanted to be the breadwinner so that i could be "took care of" but i was raised to never let a man take care of me and i guess thats why he loves me so much too. i got it on my own but he knows that i love when he tells me to relax and pulls me out of business for a little date.
"okay baby, see you later then. i love you." i said to him.
he leaves and i get ready. i throw on the most pretty dress i owned. did my hair and makeup. i wanted to wow him just because i felt like it honestly. i text him and let him know im ready and that ready to go. he texts me back and says hes pulling up now.
