Previously: Peter had told Wendy about a plant guarded by the mermaid that could possibly heal him. Tinkerbell was banished for three days instead of forever because of Wendy.
Rescue
(Wendy POV)
I ran out of the hideout and made my way to the mermaid lagoon. The mermaids were not there, lucky me. I looked in the water, searching for the flower but I find it nowhere.
Suddenly, a silver glimmer catches my attention; I looked at it and realized that it was the flower. There was only one problem; it was in the middle of the lagoon, which means that I needed to swim to get it.
"Hello Wendy, long times no see uh?" a voice said in my head. I froze; I knew that they were only one kind of creatures in Neverland that could do this.I turned around, trying to find the mermaid that had talked to me but I've found her nowhere. I turned back to the flower but it has disappeared.
"Looking for this?" I heard again but this time, someone had spoken; it was not in my head.
I looked at the source of the voice to find a red haired mermaid with blue skin, lizard eyes and pointy teeth. Half of her blue silver tail was in the water and she looked satisfied at the flower in her hands, challenging me to come and get it."Please, give it to me, I need it or someone really important might die," I half begged.
"Really?" she playfully said, "then, what is the name of this person so important to you?"
I was about to tell Peter's name when I remembered something Peter had once told me. 'Mermaids knows everything but if they want information from you, don't give it. It will allow you to have power over them because they will do whatever it takes to have it, it could spare your life.'
"Sorry, I can't tell," I replied. The mermaid lost her smile and looked severely at me.
"You... Can't... Tell?" She slowly said, her tone was terrifying, the calmer she seemed, the less I wanted to stay there. However, I had to; Peter's survival depended on me.I crossed my arms, decided.
"Nope, you won't get anything from me."
I looked at her, this time, I was the one challenging the other to dare, I liked this kind of power."There's no use to you then," she said. She grabbed my ankle and began pulling me in the water. I jumped in surprise; I hadn't realized how close she was. I tried to grip a rock or something but I was too slow, the mermaid had already begun to drown me.
I tried to swim at the surface but the mermaid's grip was too strong. I kicked her in the face but it didn't slow her, in fact, she pulled me down even stronger than before. I was about to faint because of the lack of oxygen, the last thing I saw before everything became dark is a golden glow rushing at the surface of the water.

When I woke up, I was on the sand; a golden light ball was right behind me. I moaned and looked at it, a panicked bell sound came in my ears and the light ball flew in front of me.
My vision was now clear; I looked at the strange ball and realized that it was Tinkerbell.
"Tinkerbell, did you save me?" I asked. My lungs burned every time I spoke but I needed to have answers.
She smiled and nodded."B... But why? I thought you hated me,"
Tinkerbell laughed and pick a stick behind her. I saw her writing something; she finished and let me read.
'You defended me when Peter wanted to banish me forever, twice actually, you saved Peter when he was about to die and you're doing it again. You save more people than I ever did; I owe you a big debt.'I smiled when I read what she had written, Tinkerbell was grateful, to me. The one she tried to kill so many times, the one she wanted Peter to forget about, she was grateful to me.
She smiled back and looked at the water, I followed her eyes and I gasped.
"The flower! I've lost the flower!" I screamed, Peter won't be saved; I would almost had drowned for nothing.
