*BEEP BEEP*
i rolled over to stop my phone from continuing to make the most annoying sound in my life. If it wasn't my phone I would just throw it at the wall and roll over and go back to sleep. My phone read 8:10am. ughh it's so early this trip was already a pain in my ass and it hasn't even started yet. I crawl out of bed- literally crawl on my hands and knees-to the bathroom.I starred at the girl looking back at me with hazel eyes to big for her face and the grossest dark circles anyone has ever seen in their lives. I only had a little time to get ready so I had to shorten my morning routine to just washing my face and putting on a little make up. After I fished through my closet and got dressed in a loose yet fitting black t-shirt dress, nude sandals and let my hair fall into soft waves landing mid-back. There I was ready to go and it was only 8:35. I mentally patted myself on the back and grabbed my suitcase and purse.
I walked down stairs to the smell of coffee. Coffee was the very most important thing in my house; I don't think I've ever seen my mom without a cup in her hand.
"Good morning," my mom said. I just opened the cabinet and looked for my favorite coffee cup. If I have to be up this early to do something I don't want to do she can wait until I've had my coffee for me to talk.
"Your cousin should be here any minute, she is really excited to see you," my mother continued.
"Wish I could say the same."
"Drop your attitude Ever, I'm sending you on this trip for your own good," she said taking a sip of her French vanilla coffee you could smell from a mile away, "you can't spend forever locked in your room reading books."I just rolled my eyes, and walked out of the kitchen this was a never ending fight between us. I mean what was the problem with me wanting to read? I could be doing much worse. I sit on the big white swing on the porch, coffee in one hand, iPhone in the other. I scrolled through Twitter until I heard music blasting in front of my house.
"Heyyyyy girl!" Alison yelled.
"Hi Alison, moms inside." I said getting up and walking towards the door.
"No time for talking grab your things and let's go!"
I walked in the house and grabbed my things, this was going to be one long summer. Alison was crazy, one of those teenagers you read about that do crazy things yeah that's her. We are complete opposites.
"Bye mom!" I screamed while walking out the door. I put my stuff in the back and jumped in the car.
"Are you readdyyyyy, this is going to be so much fun!!!" Alison said while speeding off.
Fun? I don't think so.
