story begins with Emma , she is 19 year old orphan girl , who is often bullied by everyone . she is kind and beautiful . she never complains . her life is a struggle . she often thinks death is the better then life .

her parents died in car accident when she was just 3 years old , her relatives abandoned her at the age of 4 . since then she lived in "hope orphanage " , she thinks hope orphanage as her home . she never led a happy life . bad luck was her best friend and loneliness was her boyfriend .
on one evening when she was returned from part time work ,she found a letter on her doormat . it was a new thing for her , she never got any letters before . she took that letter ,went into her room and read that letter

she felt strange . she never heard "Farland " before . she searched it on internet but, couldn't find anything . she thought it was a prank . and this all happened 5 days before full moon day .
next day she went to her teacher and asked " can moon disappear on full moon day ".
teacher laughed and said " no "
she felt little embarrassed and thought "it's impossible and this is definitely a prank "
but she doesn't know that the next full moon night will change her whole life .
