Jeremy's P.O.V.
It was such a relief to see someone else was in the building, or else I would've ended up freaking out. Especially since he seemed to know what he was doing around here. I followed the male quickly down the hall to wherever we had to be once we had our introductions. He seemed pretty eager to get this over and done with, but so was I... this place couldn't help but give me goosebumps.
I looked around as I was walking, taking notice of little details in the twisted hallways, like the rooms, the many drawings children had done over the years, the many wires hanging from the ceiling... But it didn't take long to get to the office.
" Alright, here we are. Your office. Oh boy, will you enjoy it here.." He spoke sarcastically, glancing around the room before looking to me. There was a quiet pause.
" ...You're anxious, aren't you?" He asked, raising a brow.
The question made my stomach drop. The word anxious didn't make me feel very comfortable.
"J-Just a little...Is-uh..." I fumbled over my words, not looking at Mike. It seemed like he could read faces pretty well.
I heard him let out a quick sigh, but he waited for me to finish what I was going to say.
"Is this place s-safe..?" I questioned, still looking towards the checkered ground. He seemed to pause for a moment as I felt his gaze turn off of me.
"In all honesty, this place is the most dangerous place you could ever be at , kiddo."
I looked up to him. Was he being serious, or was he messing with me? It's a pizzeria, it's filled with cute animal robots that entertain children...how?
The place did seem to have a heavy feeling of horror to it though.
"I know, it sounds unbelievable. But trust me on this. You'll also be receiving phone calls each night. It's explain things further...I'm only here to keep you alive for at least one night."
That sentence made me want to run out of the building and never come back. I felt horrible. I don't need this job, no...I'll find a new one. I can't put of with something like this. How is this place not getting sued?!
"I-I can't stay here.." I quickly said, starting to walk towards the gaping doorway.
Before I could even get into the hall, I felt his hand grab my sleeve, tight enough to make me stumble back a bit.
"Hey, do you see the time? It's past 12 AM. If you leave this office now, you're SURE to be slaughtered by these furry fuckers." He growled.
"But-this place-" Of course I wanted to get out of here, but if he was right about the 'slaughter' part, then I don't want to even be near the way out of the office.
Mike let go of my arm, giving me a small shove towards the office desk.
"C'mon, you gotta keep a watch out for them. Standing around is dangerous."
He went around the desk, sitting in the office chair and immediately opening the drawers, taking out a flashlight, a tablet, and two Freddy Fazbear masks. I sat in the chair beside him, my heart was practically beating out of my chest. I knew I had to quit this job after tonight, especially if I get attacked by one of the animatronics. That'll get this place in trouble...
"Okay, I'll just quickly go over the basics..."
I spaced out a bit, staring down the hallway into the darkness. I felt like I was in a horror movie. Was this going to end good or bad? What could these robots even do? Were they that smart?
"Are you even fuckin' listening?" Mike snapped, making me come back to reality in a jump.
"Oh, s-sorry...what were you saying-g..?" I looked back to him innocently.
He frowned at me, his icy blue eyes practically saying 'pay attention,' which I decided to do, even though I'll only be here for the next few hours.
"Fuck...okay. Let me go over this one more time. The flashlight helps you see if there are any animtronics in the hall. Also, if you see that rag doll fox fuck, then flash the light as fast as you can until he leaves. Use the tablet to see where the animatronics have moved so you know how close they are. If one of em' gets into the office, slip on the Freddy mask. Don't take it off until they've left. Also, the music box is important. It keeps that damn Marionette tucked away. Wind it as much as you can, don't let it stop. Got it?"
I gave a slow nod. It was a lot to take in but, if it lets me survive the night, then I'll definitely keep note.
"Good, now..." He tossed one of the Fazbear heads onto my lap, and slid the tablet over on the desk.
"It'll be best if you get used to using the tablet more, because I'm pretty sure you know how to use a damn flashlight."
If he was trying to be funny, it wasn't exactly working out all too well. I was scared for my life here!
I turned on the tablet and flipped through the cameras, noticing only the blue bunny had moved. I still didn't know their names, but I didn't care that much. I then wound up the music box and sat the tablet down, fidgeting with my shirt collar. I have to stay positive and make it through the night so I can get out of here alive....
