*If you are a completly knew reader you can ignore this. Sorry to anyone hoping this was a full update. I was just rereading and realised a few mistakes and things I wanted to add but forgot to. I'm currently having house work done and have no access to a computer so what I'm doing now is all on phone. As anyone who has ever tried to write more that a paragraph on their phone will tell you, there is no way to type more than 2000 words on a phone and not die. But I hope the edits will hold you over until I can continue. The changes were, minor cosmetic changes to the perk explanation, added sensory jutus as a skill, added 1 quest and I'll leave the stat, skill and jutsu changes at the bottom.*

Naruto is seen sitting on his swing, he had failed the Genin test. Again. At this point he wasn't sure if he could even become a ninja at all. Suddenly a voice behind him managed to alleviate him of his fear.

"Hey, Naruto!" shouted one of his teachers, Mizuki. Mizuki had always been kind to Naruto, he is the one who taught him the academy taijutsu after all. "I'm glad I caught you. I managed to convince Iruka to give you a mock up test."

"WAIT REALLY!" Yelled Naruto in excitement. This was great, maybe his dreams weren't for nothing after all.

"Yeah, all you got to do is steal the scroll of seals from the Hokage's office, to test your sneaking skill of course, and learn at least 1 Jutsu from it before anyone catches you. But I am allowed to help you with the learning because I'm your teacher." Mizuki explained. This sounded perfect for Naruto, he was a master of stealth, he had this bag.

*Timeskip*

So far everything had gone perfectly, no one had seen him in his Jiji's office so he had a head start for now. He made it to where he thinks Mizuki said he should meet him, he couldn't really remember but it was in the forest so Mizuki was bound to find him soon.

'I should probably get started, that way I'll be ahead when Mizuki comes to help out.' Thought the young blonde. He opened the scroll to see a bunch of Jutsu explained in great detail. Before he could choose 1 to learn, he saw a strange looking seal at the very bottom, he reached to touch it hoping he could release it, maybe it was a storage seal that would give him a super awesome Hokage weapon.

 Naruto pushed a bit of his Chakra into it by covering it with his right palm, but instead of it revealing a cool weapon the seal just ended up on the back of his hand. Panicking, he removed his hand from the scroll and the seal seemed to disappear. He looked back at the scroll to see nothing there and assumed it was just some stupid joke to scare people from taking the scroll.

*Timeskip to after Mizuki is defeated, nothing different happened here. Also sorry about how consecutive theses timeskips have been.*

Naruto slowly made his way home, back to his small apartment. He was still somewhat confused about what had happened. He made his way inside and started to cook himself some instant ramen. Whilst he was waiting for the water to boil, he sat down placing his left hand on top of his right on the counter and then placing his head on top of that. 

Something was clearly on Naruto's mind. Mizuki was a traitor, a traitor that had tricked Naruto into trying to help him steal the scroll and he fell for it. But that wasn't what was on Naruto's mind. He had learnt an A-rank Kinjutsu that had allowed him to defeat a Chunin in combat. But that wasn't what was on Naruto's mind. Iruka had made him a Genin, even giving him his own forehead protector. But that wasn't what was on Naruto's mind.

No, the thing on Naruto's mind, the thing that he cared about more that all that was that Mizuki had told him that the Kyuubi was sealed inside of him. This explained everything; why the village hated him, why the teachers never wanted to help him learn, why the Hokage himself considered him important enough to look after him personally.
