Sounds of explosions came out muffled. Alphys yelped due to the amount of noise forcing itself onto the building.
"Th-they c-c-ca Ame! A-ah.. I.. I'-I'm sss-sorry."
They didn't have enough time to explain, they never had enough time as a huge explosion came from the first floor, surge of voices came as multiple figures appeared. Some retreating, the humans advancing as Alphys shivered. Scrambling to type something into the keyboard before they were grabbed by a fellow monster, just in a knick of time before a human came and shot at them with their rifle. Glowing with yellow as it shot the screen of the computer, subsequently the camera. Darkness engulfed the video.
Audio was the only thing present for the rest of the video.
"Sir! The monsters are retreating further down south!"
A rough voice came as the constant gunfire came. Soon, a new voice appeared to overpower the echoing noises of weaponry being used.
'Don't let them regroup, keep the pressure on high!--'
That didn't last long, a deep growl came from somewhere. The gunfire ceasing as if they were checking something out.
They found it.. or rather..
It found them.
"AAH! SHOOT IT SHOO-!"
A wet growling roar came as bones break, flesh twisted and constant gunfire came. Painful wails becoming more and more loud and screams of terror accompanied its terrifying presence, it didn't take long for more wails to join in.
The sounds of bones breaking and gun fire largely outnumbered the wails of the fallen invaders.
Then.. silence. It was like that for a long time.

A shiver went through Desolate's spine.
He doesn't have much time to watch a video thats spanned for weeks, months, maybe even a year as he got off from the computer to walk to the ground floor.
A frown evident on his face, whatever happened to the doctor? This.. alphys, whatever happened to her. For the better, whatever happened to the rest of the monsters? From the video presented, they were ruthless in their pursuit and has steadily been pushing through their assault upon the Monster Kind.
He traversed the debris within the lab, seeing now the many bullet holes and evidence of explosive power was used or at least strayed away from their intended destination. His eyes lightly narrowed upon seeing two paths, one is blocked and the other is not.
