... Death is something we all face at the end of our lives... Death is supposed to be meaningful, happy, and filled with love that turns into despair. You live a happy life and die with that same idea, leaving those you love to show their true colors.
"I wasn't lucky... My brother held me in my final breaths, the timeline fixing itself so I wouldn't stay alive, the void taking me instead of pushing me back up. Back then, I didn't have a nice relationship with my father nor did I have one with his wife. I just died knowing he tried to fix it, but couldn't. I just wish my adopted mother wouldn't do anything rash when I slip into the pit one more time..."

A baby, no, two open their eyes. Their green and blue orbs shine with a new purpose. Their hair was almost the same color, the baby we're looking at and discovering who they are has blonde hair, almost brown, but merely like a light brown.
But...
"Hm...?" The grown man suddenly is a bit stunned, also accompanied by the woman and the... Maid? They spoke in an odd language, as Paul picked up...
"Huh...? How am I... OKAY WHAT'S GOING ON HERE!?!" Alaric demanded as he was confused, but zooming out, it was apparent WHY the man looked so concerned.
"What the... Why are my hands so...?" Alaric suddenly gasps, as he tries to speak, but the goo goos and gaa gaas of a baby can only be heard.
"AM I A BABY!?! THE FU-"
"So. Seems I was reborn in another water. This is odd... I heard of reincarnation back home... But this one is weirder..." Alaric is seen lying on his bed, as looking at it...
"..." Alaric blinks, as his left eye is shown, a white jewel-like eye is seen, as a thin target-like pattern replaces the pupil. Alaric lays next to Rudeus, he smiles brightly, as the moaning and groaning of Zenith and Paul are heard, and the boy newly named cringes in disgust.

Six months has passed, and Alaric is seen looking in the mirror,
"So... This is that odd eye they were so concerned about?" Alaric wondered, as his left eye was white as explained before.
"... Weird..." Alaric closed in, as the mirror reflected his image.
"I wonder if this is something I should be concerned about... How do I activate it? I'll worry about it when it concerns me. But all and all, I've gained a basic understanding of the language here, and if I were to think about the setting... We're definitely in a medical period. The place has stone floors for crying out loud, and Paul swung swords every single moment of the day." Alaric stares outside, the window granting him a viewing point as the shirtless man swings the rather large blade. It was black with some silver here and there.
"But I've always wondered what he is doing... Is it just normal swordplay? I keep on hearing from Paul some stories of adventurers and monsters that once grazed this world. Is it real? Fake? I wonder..." Alaric is confused about the true state of this universe, but it is answered when...
"!!!" Alaric's eyes twinkled, as Zenith saw HEALING Rudeus! He fell not too long ago, and Alaric is stunned to realize this world is exactly like his old one! Magic, spells, EVERYTHING! Well, for the most part...
