"Hm..." Alaric groans, as the noise was keeping him up including this cursed light.

"Rudeus is reading again, isn't he...?" Alaric wondered, as then he looked to see...

"Figurines?" Alaric is a bit surprised, but the boy is asleep, passed out from the depletion of his magical energy.

"... How did this kid get this much mana?" Alaric wondered as he wasn't even able to use Battle Armor right now... What is his secret?

Alaric then gets up and walks outside the room, nobody is there as he grips his wooden sword tightly.

"I'm gonna get this right even if it kills me! Well..." Alaric steps outside, closing the door,

"Not kill per se." Alaric stopped, as the view zoomed into his face, before focusing on the boy's body seemingly coated in mana, as...

"Hm... Yeah...!" Alaric smirked, as he concentrated before his eyes widened as he rushed forward, slashing at...

"!?!" Alaric's eyes widened, as he almost-

"ACK!" Never mind he felt like an idiot.

"Ha... Ha... HA!" Alaric used one of the techniques from the Sword God.

"Ugh... But... AUGH!" Alaric wanted to learn the Water God Style, but he couldn't without a partner-

"Young Master?" Suddenly a voice is heard, as Lilia opens the door, Lilia comes out a bit confused by why the little boy is up.

"L-Lilia! T-This isn't what it looks like!" Alaric tried to make it NOT seem like what she was thinking, as from her hand,

"Huh? Miss Lilia, why do you-"

"I'm going to teach you to the best of my abilities, Young Master. So follow me." Lilia sternly tells the boy, as he followed her, as she limped to the side due to an injury she sustained many years ago, that much she told Alaric.

"Flow is the main backbone of the Water God," Lilia says, as Alaric slowly guides the sword, as he was grunting from the awkward movements.

"It is considered a secret technique in the style, and the majority of the style revolves around the idea of flowing and countering attacks. Think like water, and feel it." Lilia let go, as Alaric slowly swung the sword, an inch away from hitting Lilia's clothing.

"There we go. You're doing well, Young Master." Lilia smiled, as she felt some form of nostalgia.

"... Miss Lilia?" Alaric suddenly spoke,

"Hm? What is it, Young Master?" Lilia wondered, a bit curious as to what the boy wanted to ask of her,

"... Do you think... I can become as strong as Rudeus? Talented?" Alaric wondered as Lilia smiled,

"You might have Zenith's appearance and personality, but you'll surpass him if you train. You're Master Rudeus' brother, I'm sure you got that magic somewhere." Lilia smiled, petting the boy, as he blushed a little.

"... Thank you... I appreciated that!" Alaric brightly smiled, as he was renewed, and despite not having the motivation to use magic, he can make it up by using his blade to protect the ones he love.

"... Rng..." Alaric is now seen on his bed, the lights hitting his eyes as he rolls to his side.
