It's too late for love

chapter 5

Malaika pov.
All night after Larry and Lau left I've been thinking of my ex. I kept having memories about all the abuse and hurt. Liyah came in and sat next to me.

Liyah: you OK laika?
Me: yea. I'm ok. I just saw coldness in Larrys eyes today. I don't want the same thing to happen to me like with princeton.
Liyah: don't worry. I'm sure it won't happen.

I nod and we watch some corny movies on netflix. I start to fall asleep. I try to keep myself up but I couldn't. So my eyes closed.

Dream mode.

I was walking in a dark room hearing someone call my name. I look around and see Princeton standing there. I shake my head in disbelief. I try to run but he catches me.

Princeton: so you thought you could run away huh. Think again.
He started to beat me and I couldn't take it. I was screaming for help. He started shaking me to wake up.

Dream end.

I woke up to larry shaking me looking scared. I looked at him and cried. Why did my life have to be so cruel. Lau and liyah came up and they gave me a group hug. We all got dressed and headed to school.
