ONE
"I bring the finest wine for the finest team mate that I could ever have."
Charles Leclerc smiled happily at his new team mate as he walked in to her hotel room, sitting down on the sofa that was in the centre of the large room.
"We haven't even raced yet, idiota."
Lucrezia Lombardi chuckled to herself as she joined her new team mate, who was also one of her best friends, on the sofa with two wine glasses clutched tightly in her hands.
"I already know what you're capable of, so I have hope for you in a Ferrari." Charles giggled, lightly nudging the woman sitting beside him with his elbow which encited her own laugh to leave her plump lips.
"Don't curse it, I don't want a doomed career!"
The Italian noticed how her new team mate had a smirk upon his lips as he raised the wine glass up to his mouth, raising the both of her eyebrows which made the boy that was beside her to laugh, unable to take a sip of the alcoholic beverage in his hand.
"You'll smash it, Luc, it's in your blood." The Leclerc boy spoke in a sincere voice, knowing that his best friend was always scared about letting people down.
He felt the pressure too, especially since he wanted to make his father proud, so he knew just how stressed she was about the possibility of letting her family, her country and her team down.
The two Ferrari drivers drank as they decided to watch a movie on the large flat screen television in her hotel room, choosing to watch a romance movie known as The Notebook.
The two of them always loved to watch romance movies and romantic comedies together, it was their guilty pleasure.
They always pretended that their favorite movies were movies in the action genres or the horror movie genre, but in reality the two of them would always watch a romantic movie when faced with a choice.
"You know what else is in my blood?" Lucrezia smiled as she poured herself another glass of wine, having already drank the first one that she had. "Alcohol."
"You drink wine way too quickly, I swear." Charles laughed as he watched her take a large gulp of the alcoholic liquid.
"Or maybe you just drink too slow."
"Well, you're supposed to enjoy the wine and sip it, not just throw it down your throat like it's a shot of tequila!" Charles beamed, his dimples evident as he did so, his face flushed pink as he began to feel the affect of the alcohol in his system.
"But it's the best way to drink!"
"You're Italian! You'll be stoned to death for committing crimes against wine!"
"Shut up Frenchie!"
The duo laughed as they bickered with one another like they usually did, grins, smirks and giggles being a regular occurrence when they were together.
The Leclerc boy pretended to throw up when he noticed her gulping down her next glass of wine, shaking his head in disgust at her actions, though he was used to it, having put up with it for a while now since he had known her.
A hand was lightly pushed in to his face as he turned back around, squashing his face and making it very difficult for him to talk, which was obviously exactly what she was wanting.
"Ruining the vibes here, Charlie!" Lucrezia grinned, the nickname that he so hated almost slipping from her tongue, though she had quickly recovered to use the nickname that everybody knew and used.
