"What happened to you?"
Pierre Gasly chuckled to himself as he watched his close friend, Lucrezia, slam her head down on to the table that they were sitting at, a small groan leaving her lips.
"We got gatecrashed."
Lucrezia Lombardi mumbled quietly underneath her breath, her olive skin looking exhausted, dark circles underneath her eyes, her eyebrows furrowed together.
She hadn't slept at all, since her movie night with Charles had been gatecrashed by a couple of people who would not leave her alone, and whilst she loved them, she had just wanted it to be Charles and herself.
"Who by?"
"Lando and Daniel... but they let Arthur and Juan tag along."
Pierre erupted in to a loud shout of laughter, amusement and delight evident on his face due to how bright his smile was, wrinkles forming around his eyes as he relished in knowing how chaotic her movie night would have become.
He knew that she would now be suffering from a headache.
"At least you weren't lonely." Pierre shot his friend a wink, noticing how her face immediately became full with a glare, her face unamused.
She looked like she was thinking of a hundred ways to kill him without ever leaving a trace.
"I wasn't lonely! I was with Charlie! Then boom, three children and my little brother!" The Lombardi woman raised her hands up in to the air in exasperation, a deep and loud sigh leaving her lips, her shoulders sagging in defeat.
A gasp sounded dramatically from behind her.
"I'm your little brother?!"
"The damn genes." The Italian woman cried softly as she slapped the both of her hands over her face, running them all the way down until they slammed back down on to the table.
Arthur Leclerc grinned happily as he joined the pair, his arm loosely wrapping around the shoulder of his brothers best friend, his lips lightly pressing against her forehead which made her grimace.
"You still smell of alcohol, pulce." Lucrezia lifted her hand to push his face away, a smile on her face as she heard him trying to insult her, small giggles leaving her lips.
Pierre watched on heavily amused at their behavior.
"You can't be mad at me!" Arthur whined softly. "I wasn't the one who spilt your wine! Lando did!"
"I know!" Lucrezia smiled at the young man, who she always saw as her younger brother due to her friendship with his brother, Charles. "I'm not mad at you."
Arthur rushed towards her once more in order to wrap his arms around her for a hug, his face lighting up as soon as he heard her laughter, her head shaking from side to side a couple of times.
She loved Arthur Leclerc.
Of course, she was bias and she definitely loved Charles more, and possibly Pierre, but Arthur was always going to be in her top three of favorite people in her life.
He was the little brother that she never had, the little brother who would take her things and pretend that he didn't, the little brother who had gotten his own key cut for her apartment so that he could go in whenever he wanted, even if she wasn't home.
He was also the little brother who would run head first in to an argument in order to protect her, the little brother who was prepared to fight if it meant keeping her safe, the little brother who would always tweet out his support for her, especially when she was having a hard time or facing harsh criticism.
He was also the same kid who ate Peanut Butter straight out of the jar with his fingers.
"How did Lando and Daniel even find out about your movie night?" Pierre spoke up, breaking her from her thoughts and startling Arthur, since the Monégasque had forgotten that he was beside him.
"Charles probably told them by accident." Lucrezia couldn't help but smile at the thought, knowing what her best friend was like, shaking her head from side to side.
"He did." Arthur nodded his head along, having been told as such.
"Next time, can I get an invite to gate crash? I was stuck with my boss for most of the night." The Gasly man grinned cheekily, shooting his favorite Italian a wink, noticing how she immediately returned the gesture.
"Of course, we all know how much you love rom coms." The Brunette raised one of her eyebrows at her French friend, grinning to herself as she watched him rolling the blue of his eyes.
Because it was true, and very well known.
"Doesn't Pierre always cry at the end of She's The Man?"
"Yes."
Pierre and Lucrezia spoke in unison as they answered Arthur's question, no hesitation within them as they knew that he always ended up crying, even though he didn't even know why.
It wasn't like the end of movie was emotional, yet Pierre always ended up crying at the end of it.
The Gasly man still hadn't forgiven the Lombardi woman for posting a video of him crying to it on her Instagram, it had been very embarrassing.
"If I get an invite, can I still invite Juan? He always enjoys hanging out with you." Arthur asked politely, since his Ecudorian friend seemed to love being in Lucrezia's company.
"Am I going to have to change the name of the Charles and Lucrezia movie night? Do I have to change it to the Charles, Lucrezia, Pierre, Arthur and Juan movie night? Because that's quite a long name, and I really can't be bothered."
"You can always call it, the Lucrezia and friends movie night." Pierre responded as he thought of it, noticing that his friend was smiling at his suggestion.
He knew that she wouldn't change the name of it, and that she would always pretend to complain about them being with her, but she enjoyed their company.
As long as she had her wine and some tequila, then she was always okay with having her best friends around her all night, drunk, stupid and delirious.
And considering that she was friends with two Monégasque's, two French guys, Lando, Daniel, Juan and Alex, she had to deal with the stupid part, quite a lot.
Pierre smiled softly at his friend as he watched her begin to zone out, pushing himself to his feet so that he could leave her alone, knowing that she had a tendency to sink in to her own thoughts.
Thoughts that were mainly about letting her family down, especially her father.
His hand lightly patted her on her shoulder in comfort before he walked away from her, dragging the youngest Leclerc sibling with him, the pair leaving her all by herself, which was what they usually did.
Lucrezia Lombardi sat by herself for over an hour, her hands wringing together as she began to stress, knowing that the first race for her as Ferrari driver was only a mere couple of days away.
She was finally at Ferrari.
All that she had to do now, was to live up to Charles' reputation with the team and make her family proud, especially her great aunt.
Lella Lombardi.
