Ricky quietly seated in the classroom, his attention fixed on his phone when out of the blue, Gyuvin appeared in front of him, holding a bag. Ricky's eyes widened in surprise, unsure how to react.
Before he could speak up, Gyuvin took the lead.
"Hey," Gyuvin began, his voice less confrontational than usual. "I got these snacks for you. Consider it a 'thanks' for covering my bill at the store the other day."Ricky's eyebrows furrowed in confusion, caught off guard by the unexpected gesture. Ricky's lips parted, but he found himself momentarily at a loss for words. Gyuvin didn't linger, though; he left swiftly, leaving Ricky with a bag of strawberry-flavored snacks and questions.
As Gyuvin's figure disappeared from sight, Gunwook and Junhyeon entered the scene, their expressions registering a mix of surprise and disbelief. They turned to Gyuvin, a barrage of questions ready to be fired. Gyuvin obliged, sharing the story of the store incident.
"Enemies to lovers, huh?" Gunwook chimed in, a playful twinkle in his eye as he leaned into the amusing narrative.
Gyuvin was surprised by such statements and lost for words. "Don't blow it out of proportion, guys."
Gyuvin deftly changed the conversation's trajectory, pivoting towards Junhyeon, his smile transforming into a sly grin. "Speaking of relationships, Junhyeon, what's going on with you and Taerae?"
Junhyeon's cheeks tinged with pink, and he shuffled his feet, a bashful smile playing on his lips. "Well, I've been thinking about asking Taerae out on a date."
The trio exchanged knowing glances, their grins growing as an unspoken agreement settled among them. "Time for a master plan," Gunwook declared, his voice brimming with mischief.
With determination, the trio—Gyuvin, Gunwook, and Junhyeon—huddled together, ready to hatch a plan that would pave the way for Junhyeon to ask Taerae out on a date.
Gyuvin leaned forward, his voice low and conspiratorial. "Alright, we've got to make this memorable but not over the top. Casual, you know?"
Gunwook nodded in agreement. "Definitely. We want it to be something he's comfortable with."
Junhyeon shifted on his feet, his nervous excitement palpable. "But I don't want it to be too obvious either. I mean, what if he says no?"
Gyuvin flashed a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, we'll make sure it's smooth and not too in-your-face. First, let's find out what Taerae likes. Any ideas, Gunwook?"
Gunwook scratched his head, deep in thought. "He's into music, right? Maybe we could arrange a mini outdoor concert or a picnic in the park, and you can invite him to join."
Gyuvin's eyes lit up. "That's a great starting point. Junhyeon, do you know his favorite music genres or bands?"
Junhyeon nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah, he likes old K-pop ballads."
Gyuvin grinned. "Perfect. How about we set up a cozy picnic spot in the park, complete with a Bluetooth speaker and a playlist of his favorite songs?"
Junhyeon's eyes widened. "That sounds awesome! But how do I ask him without making it seem like a date?"
Gyuvin leaned back, thinking. "You could tell him that you and some friends are planning a chill hangout in the park with some music and snacks, and that you'd love for him to be part of it. Keep it easygoing, and then gradually, it can turn into something more personal."
Gunwook chimed in, his tone encouraging. "Yeah, and you can invite some other people too, so it doesn't feel awkward."
Junhyeon's smile grew wider, his nervousness giving way to excitement. "I like that idea."
