Chapter Forty-One

Guzel's POV:

It has been a few day's since the talk Suleyman and I had about Hurrem. So far it looks like he has done nothing, I warned him that if doesn't do anything that I will. When will he take me seriously... I decide to write to Mary, I hope that she can help me.

Dear Mary,

My loving sister, how are you? I do hope everything is alright. I am writing to you because I am in need of your advice. Everyday Hurrem becomes a bigger problem, Suleyman still doesn't see her faults. I told Suleyman that if he doesn't do something about her that I will but it seems like he doesn't take me seriously.. My dear sister what should I do?

After I am finished writing this letter I ask Fatima to find Sumbul Agha. I need someone on my side in the place... Hurrem has Gul Aga, I can't trust Nigar Kalfa, Daye Hatun is loyal to the Valide... the only person left is Sumbul Agha.

"My Sultana, you were looking for me." I look up and right on time its Sumbul Agha.

"Sumbul, I need you to send this letter to Mary Tudor please."

"Of course my Sultana." He tries to reach for the letter but I stop him.

"Sumbul... as you know Hurrem has brought Gul Aga into the Palace." The look on his face quickly turns to anger when I say his name.

"And he is loyal to her, Daye Hatun is loyal to the Valide and I can't trust Nigar Kalfa. Sumbul Agha if you become loyal to me and only me... I can make Gul Aga disappear in due time. I can make all your wishes come true and all you have to do is ask." He stops to think and a small smile grows on his face. By that smile I can tell he couldn't say no.

"Anything my Sultana?" He says to me.

"Anything your heart desires Sumbul Agha. All you have to do is be loyal to me and only to me, but if I find out you betray me I'll end you." He flinches after I said that.

"My Sultana, you have my word. I am your loyal servant until the day I die." I smile at his words. I hand him the letter. He bows then leaves, I remind him that if he wanted anything all he needed to do was ask. He continued to thank me as he left.

"Adila, Fatima, Semra take care of the children I'm going to see the Valide."

"Yes my Sultana." They say all at once. I get up and leave my room, as I leave my room I bump into Hurrem and trailing behind her is Gul Aga. 

"My Sultana." Gul Aga says to me showing respect towards me, I say nothing.

"His Majesty summoned me tonight." Hurrem says trying to rub it in my face.

"Hurrem, no matter how many times His Majesty summons you I will away's be number one. You are a slave Hurrem... you are nothing." I say to her I then walk away. I'll do everything in my power to make sure she doesn't see Suleyman tonight. I'm finally at the Valide's room, I wait for Daye Hatun to give me the okay to enter.

"Guzel, come sit next to me." Valide tells me. I walk up and sit next to her. 

"How are you doing my Valide?" I ask her.

"I am well Guzel, how are you and my grandchildren?" She asks.

"We are doing well also. I was thinking of visiting Hatice today, I know she has been very nervous about the baby."
