Later the next day we all met back at chateau. Kie and Sarah sat in the van going over a few things while JJ and I ran around play fighting with each other.

"Can you guys focus please" John b yelled at the two of us as we stopped in place as he scolded us.

"Uh oh dads mad" JJ said making me laugh
"Look can we just get the gold" John b said insistently.

We went back to working on the project which was not as fun a messing around with JJ.

"Kie this better work" JJ said as two of us walked over and plopped the three gold bars down in front of kie and Sarah

"We can't pawn this if there's a giant wheat symbol on it" JJ continued

"It's gonna work" kie said holding up a blow torch. Kie began to melt it on a pot as all of us watch closely. Once the gold was made into one chunk we decided to head over to the pawn shop.

"Hell of a job melting it down dr Frankenstein" JJ said to kie as we all got out of the car

"You couldn't have done any better" kie argued back
"I could have, I took a welding class" JJ said

"Hey hey shh chill out" John b said to the two of them breaking up their little fight

"Easy for you to say that your not the one that has to pawn this piece of shit off. How did I get this job anyway?" JJ asked the group as we all looked at him

"Cause your the best liar" pope responded. We all walked into the pawn shop one after another pretending to go and look at random things around the store as JJ made conversation with the woman's at the front.

"How about them gold apples" JJ said setting the gold onto the table as I peaked over at him

"That ain't real" the woman say back laughing at him

"That ain't real?" JJ asked back

"It can't be" she said back
"Feel how heavy it is" JJ said as she skeptically picked up the heavy chunk of gold. "Let's get some light on that" JJ said helping his case.

"Spray painted tungsten" she said back

"Spray painted tungsten really? Okay. Why don't you see how uh soft it is" JJ suggested

"You mind?" She asked about to take a hammer to the object
"No go for it" JJ said back

She hit the hammer and nothing seemed to happen

"Oh would you look at that?" JJ said to her
"Hold your horses. We ain't got to the acid test yet" she replied

"Oh the acid test" JJ said looking to me. "My favorite guys" JJ continued

I couldn't really see what was going on with the acid test but it seemed promising by the way she was mumbling about it.

"Ma'am I'm telling ya this is as real as the day is long" JJ said

"It looks like somebody tried to melt it down" she said with a question in her voice

"My mom. She had all this jewelry laying around the house, and she thought it was best to melt it down. To "consolidate" it" JJ responded thinking quickly of a lie

"Seven pounds, that's a lot of earrings" the woman said not believing his story

"Okay to be honest ma'am, it's really hard to see my mom fall apart with Alzheimer's" JJ said as I scrunched my eyebrows at his lie
