Chapter 5

Stephanie waved at Wong as she stepped out of the portal.

"Hey Wong."

"Stef? Why are you here?"

"Don't know. Sorcerer Douchebag grabbed me from the Avengers place and full-on middle named me!" Stephanie stated with a shrug as she started pulling books off the bookshelf.

Stephen shook his head, pulling a book from her hand before slapping it.

"Don't touch." He stated before placing it back and taking off his cloak.

Stephanie watched the cloak move. "Can I touch it?"

"No, you ca..." Stephen glared at the cloak while Wong just chuckled as it moved to let her touch it all on it's own.

"Would you like some tea?" Wong asked, trying not to laugh harder as the cloak circled her.

"Not today." Stephanie replied, petting the cloak like it was an animal.

Stephen made her sit, then sat across from her, just staring at her.

"Well, aren't you grumpy."

"Why are you with the Avengers?" Stephen asked abruptly.

"I'm employed by Tony to take care of the surrogates."

"I haven't seen you in three years, Stephanie."

"And?" She replied. "I had a job in Chicago."

"How long have you been in New York?"

"Almost a month."

"Why did you cancel dinner three weeks ago?" Stephen asked, irritated.

"Met up with an old flame."

"Fucking Storm."

"Look sex with Torch was alot more appealing than visiting you. Now, can I go? I have a clinic to set up."

Stephen growled and flicked his fingers, sending her back to the Avengers.

Wong chuckled as the Cloak of Leviation smacked Stephen.

Clint chuckled as Nat finished explaining what she had told Stephanie. Before he could respond, a portal went by depositing said female right onto his and Thor's laps.

Thor smiled down at her. "So the Wizard sent you back?"

Stephanie nodded. "Yep. You're completely right Loki, you should have stabbed my brother."

Loki grinned while Bruce shook his head and pointed at him. "No!"
