HOOD Hideout, New York City

2:57 a.m.

She closed her eyes and used all of the strength left in her body to leap out through the hole. Her body landed on the ground after exiting the hole. When she opened her eyes she saw a dark room. It wasn't completely dark like the first. Facing her was a giant computer almost the exact size of the wall. The only lights in the room were along the side and they were looking very dim.

Jett almost forgot she was still alive and able to breathe now. She opened her mouth and panted until her lungs filled up again. She remembered that she also put in all of those plugs but once she reached for them, they were gone. Her goggles weren't on her face either. She looked down to see that her outfit was completely back to normal. At this point she really wasn't too surprised.

"Welcome to your next test," a different voice spoke. It was Cross this time.

"Oh my god. Another test? What is wrong with you people?" Jett complained.

"Hey, don't yell at me! I'm the fun, lovable one," Cross responded.

"Okay. Sorry, Cross."

"It's alright, girl. I got you. Anyways, I would like to present you with your next test."

"Does it involve that gigantic computer?"

"It does actually."

"Yay me," Jett groaned.

"I know, you're so lucky!" Cross cheered. "You have a simple task ahead of you. Right now you are in the main control room of the enemy base. Your job is to shut down their entire system which would inevitably cut off the power thus taking away their resources."

"Oh, that's all."

"Yeah, like I said. Simple. Have fun!"

"Wait, don't go! I don't know how to use this thing!"

Obviously, nobody was going to answer. Jett figured she was on her own again. She stared at the overbearing device. There were buttons on it that were basically the size of her hand. She noticed a big red button. The only thing she knew for sure was to stay away from that.

Well, she had to do something. It was now or never. She started pressing some of the other buttons. The screen lit up. There was a big mess of numbers everywhere. It was a bit intimidating for Jett. She started pressing more buttons. The screen changed to more numbers. Was that good? Probably not. She continued to press even more random buttons. This time the screen started blinking. That didn't seem like a good sign.

Nothing happened. The screen returned back to the confusing numbers. This frustrated her. Pressing buttons didn't help, but it was the only thing she knew how to do.

A few minutes passed and she had tried several different button combinations. Still nothing. Every time she failed she would look over to the big red button. Maybe she was supposed to press it? At this point she figured it wouldn't hurt. She slowly inched her hand over to the red button until it hovered just above. She pulled her hand back and then smacked it.

At first, there was silence. The computer screen stopped displaying the numbers and changed to a bright red screen. She didn't know exactly what she did, but something happened. That's all she wanted.

An alarm soon began to ring. The red screen had words on it that read:

INTRUDER ALERT!!

Crap. So the red button was a bust. In a matter of minutes a whole team of guards would show up to apprehend her. She didn't know which way to go. She looked all around and in her terror; she noticed a tiny opening on the side of the computer.
