2 weeks later...

HOOD Hideout, New York City

9:43 a.m.

Jett yawned, waking up from an uninterrupted sleep. Today there wouldn't be any annoying alarms to scare her half to death out of a Ryan Gosling fantasy dream. Today was Sunday and luckily, training was put to a halt on this wonderful day. Everybody would get to rest or do whatever they would like instead of face rigorous tasks.

The exceptions to this rule were Jett's first two Sundays with the agency. She had come to them on a Saturday and missed the entire week so she had to catch up and train on her day off. The next week was the same.

The next two weeks she learned all types of new things that she had to admit were pretty cool. The schedule was Monday through Saturday with Sunday being the relax day as mentioned before. Monday was stealth training, Tuesday was combat training, Wednesdays they trained in the simulations, Thursdays they trained their minds, Fridays they had weapon training and Saturday was cardio training.

Training started at six and ended at twelve each day and it was nonstop. The only way to fit in a meal in would be if you ate breakfast before. Lunch was right after, which was a plus. Six was a long time to train without a meal so Jett did her best to eat as much as she could the night before.

After training the agents would get free reign to do whatever they wanted. Jett was able to relax on her own or hang out with the others. Obviously, she chose to stay in bed and sleep. However, she did wonder what it would be like if a mission were to come up. The last one they had was to rescue Jett and she didn't really participate in the way she would've wanted. Now that she was here, she wanted to get in on the action.

She looked over to the clock to see that it was almost ten. That was more like it. Waking up at six was a new experience for her. Back in her old life, she was used to sleeping in. Especially with her late nights, this girl could sleep in past noon some days.

This was her first full Sunday of relaxation. She had to train all last week as well to catch up with the others since it was pretty clear that she wasn't quite at their level. The improvement could be seen over the two weeks. She wasn't a quitter and it definitely showed. Sure, not very many of the other people she was forced to be around were generous with comments, but she had West and Cross who made her feel better.

She had been hanging with those two a lot. Cross took a while to get used to because she was a little on the loud side and she had an energy unlike anyone Jett had met before. West was easier to get along with due to their similar sense of humor and he was the only one that seemed like a normal person.

Hawk was still the hardest one to crack. Not that she tried talking to him or anything, but if she did; he didn't respond. She decided that it wasn't worth the attempt. If he wanted to talk to her then he would. She wasn't going to waste any more time on him.

HQ was another story, still expressionless and still a bitch; the woman talked to Jett a little more than she wanted. HQ constantly told her things that were incredibly rude yet surprisingly motivating. That was probably her goal. She wanted to make her feel so much like shit that it would somehow inspire her to not be shit.

It sounded better in her head.

Jett sat up and pulled her 1000 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets off of her king sized bed. She stretched before touching her feet to the floor, pulling her silk robe over her body. She headed to the bathroom passing her shiny, gold makeup vanity.

Okay, she maybe she went a little bit overboard after West showed her something that allowed her to get almost anything. What else could she do? Her room was a disaster before. Plus, as far as she knew this wasn't hurting anybody. These things were being retrieved illegally, right? Well, maybe it would be best if she didn't think about it.
