Chaewon followed Hyeju back to her apartment. She was shaking like a leaf but felt comforted by Hyeju. She knew she was safe.

Hyeju had caught Chaewon's eye a long time ago. The second day of her freshman year to be exact. They studied in seperate departments but crossed paths more often than expected. Chaewon always smiled at Hyeju when passing and Hyeju, after being surprised the first couple of times, eventually smiled back. Well, more of a half smile but the sentiment was still gained.

Chaewon felt that Hyeju was a trustworthy person. She never saw her getting into any trouble which was the opposite of most's expectation's. She seemed to have barriers up all around her. One's that would be awfully hard to break down. Chaewon never thought a friendship could bloom between the two but, despite the circumstances, she was happy to have finally engaged in conversation with Hyeju.

They eventually made it to Hyeju's apartment and Hyeju opened the door for Chaewon, checked outside and locked them both inside. Hyeju did her nightly serial-killer-prevention. 4 locks, covering the peep hole and the gap underneath the door. She checked and subsequently closed the surrounding windows before she turned around to a stunned and slightly petrified looking Chaewon.

"Sorry..." Hyeju muttered.

"No, no... It's... Impressive." Chaewon blurted.

"I must seem like a crazy person, but, I promise... This is a crazy person prevention. You know? Just in case." Hyeju told the smaller girl.

"I appreciate it. Feels a lot safer than my place." Chaewon added.

Chaewon turned and looked around before she sat herself down on Hyeju's unbelievably comfy couch. It felt like a cloud was hugging her.

"Make yourself at home, I guess." Hyeju's words snapped Chaewon from her cloud-like bliss and back to reality. She prepared to stand up.

"Don't, I was joking." Hyeju said, with a laugh.

Chaewon giggled. A sweet sound that echoed throughout the room and tickled Hyeju's ears.

"Are you feeling better? That must've been scary." Hyeju said, finally inching towards Chaewon and plopping herself down on the other end of her couch. She didn't slouch too much, she sat up properly. She wanted to make sure Chaewon was okay before she relaxed.

"I feel much better here." Chaewon said, slowly closing her eyes. Hyeju sprung up and told Chaewon "Take my bed, you've had a rough enough night. I'll take the couch."

"I couldn't" Chaewon said drousily, her eyes still half shut. "It's your home." She added.

"Come on" Hyeju groaned as she hoisted Chaewon up with both arms, making it sound and look a lot more difficult than it was. Chaewon was as light as a feather.

Chaewon moved to the bedroom after being peeled off of the couch and watched Hyeju turn on the TV and lie on the couch. She smiled and entered. She didn't even turn on the light as she could see enough of a faint outline of the bed. She fell onto it. Falling asleep almost instantly.
