Hello everyone, I'm back..😔😂
I would love to say that I've been working hard in school and working on chapters this whole time to excuse my absence but thats bullshit. I completely forgot about this story and I was definetly suprised seeing the amount of views and comments asking for new chapters when I came back. I dont think ill be updating this story regulary bc obviously I have a life which is self explanatory and tbh I woke up from my naruto faze long ago (2022), but i will try. Im fast fowarding this, they are no longer in middle school, if my information is off on this world, feel free to correct, i watched naruto 4 years ago and im not abt to re watch it. And thank you so much for the support and funny comments, I do read them.

Kakashi's POV-

High school was a unfortunagte phase about everyone has to go through, no one said the ones dearest to you would change so much though.

I was now 16. I walked throughout my neighborhood, the leaves and gravel crunching underneath my feet with each step. Walking through those now rusted teal doors, I walked towards my classroom, middle school girls racing past, laughing.

It was like any other day, I sat at the furthest table in the back, my so called "friends" surrounding me with lunch trays in hand. Fools, they talked like idiots with apples for brains, everything was about having fun and what felt good, suitable candidates for crackheads on the street. I never found those type of people fun, they stood out to me like monkeys scratching their asses. "Idiots" I mumbled under my breath, standing up.

"Where are you going?" A familiar blonde girl asked holding onto his arm. He couldn't quite recall her name. It was either Samantha or Emily, but that didnt matter, she was one of those girls that when they saw something they liked, they'd cling onto it like starving dogs, their actions overlooked by their status. She was your typical blonde, all pink, failing school popular cheer girl.

"Can you mind your bussiness?" Kakashi replied, shaking his arm from her grip, the girl scoffed, resting her head on her chin. She was a imbecile, sleeping with the teachers for a grade, the type of person Kakashi couldnt stand. He walked away, walking down the hallway, his steps echoing. Steps accompanied him, from the opposite direction. Obito passed and that was that. The same silence and tension that kakshi couldn't stand. He walked to the bathroom leaning agaisnt the wall, taking out a pack of cigarettes from his jacket pocket. He opened the back window, lighting the cigarette under a flame and relaxed against the wall, and allowed himself to think.

It was frustrating how a relationship with someone you've basically known your whole life could be severed so easily. Obito changed after Rin's accident. Poor thing got hit by a car on her way to practice. She stayed in a coma for months, everyone who knew her had to be accepting to the fact that she could die any day, her heart was weak. Of course Kakashi was upset, she was one of his only genuine friends, but he had to move on after a while, and be fine with the fact that he got to know someone like her. Obito however changed dramatically. He didn't text or call or hang out like they used to, and that was fine with kakashi because he too was affected by her accident. Everyone needed time to heal, but when a year passed by with the situation the same it didnt take much braincells to understand obito was not his anymore. When they passed by in the halls, he was silent, he didnt look back or wave, he was a changed person. He cut Kakashi off from his life without a word and a explanation as to why.

Worst of all Obito began to hang around the type of people Kakshi wasted no time to call imbeciles. The type that drifted for fun, broke laws, cheated on others, drank, and smoked. Well other than the last part was fine, he rolled his eyes internally, his cigarette dulling slowly. He didn't like to admit it saddened his heart, he didnt like to dwell on pointless things that were out of his control, but he couldnt help but to be human. Unfortunately.
