Betty always loved Taylor's songs. The ones that were wrote for her and the ones that weren't.

She knew the first two weren't about her. She was sure of it. 'Mine' seemed to be closer to a story and 'Sparks fly', well Betty didn't have green eyes, She has brown.

Back to December however. She knew it was for her, everything about it fit them.

Fit her.

That December night. I mean how many people had Taylor broken up with in December.

Betty couldn't listen to the other songs. It was hard getting through the first two, hearing her voice singing about loving someone that wasn't her wether they were real or not.

Betty's car was now parked outside of her moms house her eyes lingering on the front door. Her mind racing around in circles. Only a few months under a year ago taylor had knocked on her door for the last time.

Betty stepped out of her car, leaving the CD in the car. She had no use for it inside. If she brought it inside she would probably through it away, and she still had 10 more songs she needed to listen to.

Her shoes clicked against the wood on her porch as she walked up to the door, her mind emptying itself of all Taylor swift as she stepped through the door.

"Hey honey" Betty's mom, Inez, said as she saw her daughter walk through the door.

The door snapped closed like always, only this time, Taylor was there. Standing in front of it. Her hands twisting together nervously as she walked further into the house.

Betty grew a big smile as she saw the blonde running over to her and giving her a tight hug.

Betty pulled back, her smile even wider "I have something to tell you" Betty said excitedly pausing for a second before she grabbed something off of the table next to them. "I got you flowers I don't know why I just did" Betty said with a huge smile, But her smile faded once she saw the look in Taylor's eyes "are you okay"

Taylor sucked in a breath glancing at the people behind Betty. None of them seemed to be paying attention to their conversation.

Taylor looked back at Betty "can we talk" she could practically see Betty's heart drop.

Now Betty was sitting on her bed tears streaming down her face.

"I'm sorry Betty" Taylor mumbled from beside her "really sorry"

Betty let out a deep sigh letting her head fall "why"

Taylor stood up "I don't have to explain myself" Taylor said as she slowly walked towards the door.

Betty looked up at her "no, but don't I deserve a reason" she asked leaning on the edge of her bed.

"Betty, I just can't. Alright" Taylor's hand reached for the door. "Please don't go" Betty quietly begged from her spot on her bed.

For a moment, Betty had thought she would turn around, change her mind. At least until Taylor said "I'm sorry" for the last time before she opened the door and walked out, leaving Betty.

But now Betty was back in the entry way and her mom was running towards her and then woman was rapping her into a tight hug.

"Hi mom" Betty mumbled pulling herself out of the hug.

"You feeling okay?" Her mom asked placing the back of her hand against Betty's forehead "yeah I'm fine" Betty pulled her head away from the woman.

"You ready for dinner. Your brothers gonna be here any minute now" her mom patted her shoulder before she walked back to the kitchen.
