Betty sat at the kitchen table, her family surrounding her. Random conversations filling the air.
Millie, who sat beside her, suddenly turned towards her eldest sister a huge smile on her face.
"Did you listen to Taylor's new album yet" Millie had said it very loudly causing a few of the conversations to pause and focus on the girls.
Betty lightly dropped her fork, looking over at her sister with a faded smile "not yet Millie" she left out the part where she had actually listened to 3 songs already.
"Not even the one that's about you" the rest of the people who weren't paying attention at first, were now suddenly interested.
Betty slightly stiffened, glancing at the watching eyes before she answered her question "what are you talking about" as if she hadn't known.
"There's like four songs on speak now that have to be about you" Millie seemed overly excited about this piece of news.
Betty once again looked at the people watching her before she spoke "which ones do you think are about me"
Millie looked as if she had been waiting for Betty to ask her that question since the day she was born.
"Well, I might be wrong so I'm gonna need you to confirm these but, I think back to December, which is pretty obvious. Everyone knows you guys broke up in December, and that September night, I mean we all know what she's talking about."
Millie paused, nodding at her family, some of which responded with a mirrored nod.
"And last kiss, cause I know where you were july 9th, and she always said that she didn't like to dance, but she would do anything for you. She says something close to that in the song" Millie was now fully facing Betty.
Betty had not gotten this far in the album so she had almost no idea what she was talking about, well, she knew what she was talking about she just didn't know how it coronated to the song.
"Enchanted because, I mean I don't even have to explain myself" Millie waved her hand in the air as she quickly moved on to the nest song "and finally, the story of us, I don't know how I know it's about you, I just know it is okay"
Millie finally finished turning back to the table and taking a huge bite of her chicken.
Betty remained in her spot, completely speechless. All she knew was that she had to finish listening to the album.
"The whole album is amazing though, even the ones that aren't about you" Millie mumbled glancing up at Betty.
"Though there are less then fearless, which was really sad" Millie's voice turned into an echo in Betty's mind as Betty began to think of the blonde.
