Pansy and Mattheo's Plan

*the same night (Saturday) as last chapter*
~Mattheo's POV~
I don't know how I'm going to get Potter to talk with me, but I'm going to have to figure out a way and fast. If I take too long to get proof, they may not believe me even if I get the proof. I spot Harry in the hallway and pull him into an empty classroom. "What the- Riddle?" He says, confused. "Yeah, it's me. I need to talk to you about something," I say. "Can't it wait?" He asks. "No. It can't," I state. "Fine. Make it quick, Riddle," he says, wanting to leave as soon as possible. "Okay. Was I force feed a love potion and were you the one who cured me?" I ask. Harry sighs and then nods. "Yeah, I could tell something was off about you when I ran into you in the halls so I cured you in the potions room," he admits. "Thank you for your honesty. Could you come to the Slytherin common room tomorrow night at 7pm so I can prove to my friends that I didn't cheat on Cordelia?" I ask. Harry hesitates before answering me. "Yeah, sure. I guess I can," he states. "Okay, great. Thank you so much. I owe you one, Potter," I say as I leave the room.

I immediately run into Pansy's room and sit on her bed next to her. "How'd it go with Potter?" She asks. "Good. He said that I was given a love potion and that he was the one who cured me," I say. "Good. My talk with Lia went pretty well. She said she'll believe you if you have proof," Pansy admits. I nod. "I have proof. I was able to convince Potter to meet me in the Slytherin common room at 7pm tomorrow night. Is that an okay time for you to get the group together so I can give them proof?" I ask. Pansy nods. "Yeah, it should be. I'll go talk to Lorenzo and Theodore about you having proof about not actually cheating on Lia. And I'll tell them, and Lia, to be in the common room tomorrow night at 7," she states. I give Pansy a small and quick hug. "Thank you. I owe you and Harry one for sure," I say. She laughs. "It's fine. You don't owe me. I'm doing this because I want to see Cordelia happy again," she admits. "She was so happy with you and I want to see that happiness again," Pansy finishes. I smile. "I was super happy with her too. I want that again as well," I admit. "Then let's hope that our plan doesn't fail," she says. I nod.

Pansy tells me to go back to my dorm and get some rest for the big plan tomorrow. But the other reason was because Cor would be back from hanging out with Theodore and Lorenzo soon. She's been staying at Pansy's since the whole "cheating" thing, so I'm hoping that the plan will work and she'll come and stay in our dorm again. I just have to keep my fingers crossed I guess. I walk into my dorm and get ready for bed. Once I'm ready for bed, I get underneath the sheets, find a comfortable position and fall asleep while thinking about how the next day might go. It could be good or bad. Hopefully it's the first option. Or I don't know if I could ever forgive myself for what I did when I wasn't my normal self. Because I would never cheat on Cor. Never in a million years. This has to work. It will.. won't it?
