BEING THE CAMPUS "IT" GIRL IS TIRING THAN YOU EXPECTED. Always getting everyone's attention in every movements you make, having to greet back people along your way with a forced smile just to not seem rude and ruin yours and family's reputation. Boys would try their best to have you just so they can boast about it and be famous as well. And don't get me started with fake people trying to get into your good side just for fame.

Being famous has its bad side as well. Like not being able to know who's trustworthy and who's not. In your case, you didn't have to worry about it since you have your childhood friends in the same school! Kokomi and Ayaka. You three were the power trio, the inseparable trio. Even though you three are in different classes, you all still eat together during lunch since your schedules aligned well with each other.

Because of them, you didn't have any desire to seek new friends. They were just enough for you. So how come you've been giving quick glances to the transfer student, wishing to be his friend as well? You've been glancing at their group in the cafeteria for a while now. Their laughters boomed throughout the cafeteria. You'd be lying if you didn't find Kazuha's laugh angelic. It was a soft laugh, not like any barbaric ones that males mostly have. His was as soft as a feather and is like a tune in your ears.

"—hello, earth to Y/N!" Kokomi exclaimed, waving her hand in front of your face to grab your attention. Your eyes suddenly focused on her palm, shaking your head as you blinked.

"Sorry, what was that?" You asked, mustering up an apologetic smile. Kokomi sighs while Ayaka stared at you, eyes filled with worry.

"You've been dozing off since earlier... Is there something wrong?" Ayaka asked, straightening her posture as she placed down the cup that she was holding.

"Hm? That's not like you, Y/N." Kokomi said, ears perked up by what her other friend has said. She too, has now a worried look on her face.

"Argh! I don't know what's happening to me as well." You exclaimed with a whine, placing both of your hands on the side of your head as you lowered it on the table.

"Y/N, don't place your head there! It's full of germs!" Ayaka exclaimed, trying to lift up your head. She knew how conscious you are with your hygiene, and never liked it when you get breakouts. Who even likes breakouts anyway?

"Is there any particular something or someone bothering you?" Kokomi asked once you have lifted your head. The pink-haired girl swore you were about to sanitize your whole head.

"Someone..." You mumbled, eyes trailing off to a particular person, specifically the transfer student, Kazuha Kaedehara. The two girls followed towards where you were staring.

The two gasped, "the new student?!" They whisper-yelled. The two girls took their time to think, even nodding their heads together in sync as they had their eyes closed and their index finger placed on their chins.

"Well, Kaedehara-san is cute. Yes." Ayaka said, head still nodding.

"Not to mention, him and Y/N looks good together." Kokomi added, as well with a nod.

"Y-you've got it all wrong..!" You said so in distressed. Your hands were both waving frantically in front of your two best friends.

"I don't like him or anything!" You told them once again, earning a disapproving expression from them.

"Then why do you keep looking at him, Y/N?" Ayaka asked, tilting her head to the side which you found very endearing.

"Wait—" Kokomi paused.

"Do you like Heizou instead?!" The pink-haired had thought out loud, eyes grew large, the same as Ayaka.

"Maybe she's staring at Shikanoin and not Kaedehara—!"

"You got it all wrong! Please, I don't like anyone!" You cried, fat imaginary tears running from your eyes as you bowed your head to hide yourself from them.

The two sighed, "then what is it?"

"I don't know... I think I want to be friends with Kaedehara?" You questioned yourself as well. The sudden desire of wanting to become friends with a new student was something you have never thought would have happened to you.

"Why the sudden change?" Kokomi asked, knowing you full well because of being with you since diapers, she knew you weren't fond of having new friends because of the fear of having them betray you getting the best of you.

"I'm not too sure myself..." You mumbled.

"Kaedehara... Where did I heard of that before?" Ayaka asked herself, eyebrows furrowed together as she tried her utmost best to remember such important detail.

"Oh, he's the last descendant of a fallen clan, Kaedehara." She said.

"This'll be tough, Y/N. Your mother is very strict as well when it comes to your friends." Ayaka said once again, a sigh escaping her lips. The only reason why your mother had allowed you to be friends with her was because she is a Kamisato. The same reason goes to Kokomi.

"I don't think she will approve of your soon friendship with Kaedehara." Kokomi told you as well, a sad smile appearing on their faces.

You stopped for a second. "She doesn't have to know, right?" You questioned, your smile never disappearing.

"Me and him can be friends in school, don't you think?" You asked once again.

They slowly nod their heads in unison, "if you're really adamant about it, then there's no stopping you." The white-blue haired girl answered.

"Are you really sure you don't like him, Y/N?" Kokomi asked in a cheeky way, raising her eyebrows up and down.

"I swear, I don't!"
