Rei:First you must learn the Japanese alphabet! We will start with Hiragana!
Hiragana is usually used in children's book or for words that have no Kanji
Akira:first we have
あ(a)
い (i)
う (u)
え (e)
お (o)
ん (n) (looks similar right?)
These are the first vowels in the alphabet
Side notes:
あ is pronounced with a "ahh" sound!
い is pronounced with a "e" like in eat
う is pronounced with a "oo" like in soon
え is pronounced like "e" in elk
お is said like OH
