Hikari had finally reached Tairitsu's house.
She was only thinking about one thing.

Tairitsu.

She just realised that over the recent weeks, her dear friend hasn't been... going outside as much as she used to.

She hasn't even been talking to Hikari herself. And that says a lot.
This alone raised enough alarm bells for the girl.

She doesn't expect people to talk to her, but...

Tairitsu always used to be very eager to talk to Hikari. After all, Hikari has saved her.

Multiple times.

Hikari is the reason for Tairitsu still "living".
For Tairitsu still being here.
Tairitsu will always be thankful for her, for as long as she is breathing.

Hikari knocked on the door two times.

Two times turned into four times.

Four times turned into eight times.

Her face went white. An indescribable wave of panic rushed over her.

She knew.
She knew something was awfully wrong.

"TAIRITSU..?!"
Hikari called out as loud as she possibly could.

It was very early in the morning, but she didn't care if she woke anyone up. Nothing else mattered in that moment; Making sure that Tairitsu is alive and breathing was the only thing on her mind.

"TAIRIS- ...ah!"
The doorknob turned. Hikari's eyes widened.

The door opened slightly.

"Hikari...?"

Tairitsu held the door slightly ajar, leaving it open just enough so that they can talk to eachother.

"I can't... I can't let you see me like this... !"
Tairitsu exclaimed through tears. She never thought that Hikari would come to visit her at a time like this. She never thought that Hikari would... ever care enough to visit her without notice.

Never.

Ever.

"ARE YOU OKAY?? Please open the door... im really... worried about you."
Hikari could barely form a sentence over the sound of her heartbeat echoing in her head. She didn't want Tairitsu to know that she had been crying. She didn't wan't anyone; especially Tairitsu, to worry about her.

Ha.

It's ironic.

Painfully ironic.
Being in tears over someone because you care about them with all of your heart, yet not wanting people to worry over you yourself.

To Hikari's surprise, the door flung open.

Time froze.

This can't be....?
The girl in white thought to herself.

Tairitsu collapsed in Hikari's arms.
