It all started back when Firey and Flower were first brought together in the Battle For Dream Island, and they became teammates. But their relationship was anything but friendly. Firey often felt that Flower was quite arrogant and was always out to get him. Flower thought that Firey was an idiot, and so they just could not get along.
The other team members could see this and tried their best to bring the two together, but it remained a constant source of tension for everyone involved.
Then one day, when the two were about to enter into yet another argument, Leafy spoke out. 'Why can't you guys get along?' she asked, looking from one group member to the other.
Both Firey and Flower were shocked, as they hadn't expected her to speak up. But Firey saw an opportunity, and so he took it.
'Flower is a jerk and has killed me multiple times,' he said accusingly, his voice full of hatred for his teammate.
Flower rolled her eyes and responded with, 'Firey is an idiot.'
The tension only seemed to grow.
It seemed like nothing was going to change, but then the next day, Firey said something that surprised everyone.
'Flower,' he started, looking nervously towards her. 'Can we not hate each other anymore? We can be associates for our team's sake.'
Flower looked at Firey for a long minute before she replied. 'Sure,' she finally said, her voice softer than usual. 'I would love that, loser.'
The others were shocked at this sudden show of kindness, and from that point on, Firey and Flower worked together much better than before. Even though they didn't become best friends, the tension between the two was gone, and they worked together for the team's sake.
