Just A Typical Day

After I drop my son off at daycare, I decided to stop over Tonia's house. I needed to see when she would be able to fit me in to get my toes done being that summer was right around the corner.
As soon as I get over there, I heard loud music playing and that most definitely means Tonia is getting ready or cleaning her house. So I rang the door bell instead of knocking so that way she would be able to hear that I'm outside.
As she runs to the door I receive a phone call from my co-worker.
I pick up the phone as soon as she opens the door. Tonia motions me to come in her house.

PHONE CALL :
Co-Worker - Hello?
Sophia - Yes?
Co-Worker - Hey Sophia, do you think I would be able to ride into work with you? Umm, my car kind of umm broke down before I could even leave my drive way.
Sophia - Sure, sure. I'll be there in like 5-10 minutes. Make sure you are ready or we will both be late!
Co-Worker - Okay, thank you so much Sophia!
Sophia - No problem.

END OF PHONE CALL

Tonia: Who was that?
Sophia: This boy I work with, he is like so irresponsible. it's like every other day he needs a ride to work because *does quotation marks in the air* his car is broken down.
Tonia: Well can I help in any way?
Sophia: Girl, I was too caught up in work issues and forgot what I came over here for. Okay, so being that summer is almost here but I can't have my nails done, I need a pedicure. You think you can fit me in soon?
Tonia: Of course, duh girl. Does my baby need his hair cut yet?
Sophia: Yeah, his hair is getting soo curly and hard to handle.
Tonia: Typical while girl with a mixed child issue.

They both start laughing.
Tonia agrees to set up an appointment for Sophia and Troy. The two say good bye to each other and Sophia is rushed to go pick up her co-worker.

After picking up her co-worker, the two are off to a normal day at work.
Work passes and Sophia has to go pick up her son Troy from daycare.

"Work dragged today, I just want to go home with my baby" Sophia says out loud to herself in the car. As Sophia rushes to go pick up her son Troy, she gets stuck in traffic. As she is waiting, she wonders why the cars have not moved in 10 minutes. As the cars start to move, she sees on the right of her, a car flipped over and another car next to it with a missing windshield and missing doors. "I pray everyday something like that does not happen to me and my baby" says Sophia out loud again. "I just can't imagine something like that happening to me, Troy or Tonia." blurts out Sophia.
After passing the accident, Sophia finally arrives to the daycare.

AT THE DAYCARE
Troy sees his mom signing him out to go home and runs up to her.
Troy: Mommy, Mommy!!
Sophia: Hi baby boy!
Sophia grabs him up and hugs him tightly. After he is signed out she buckles him up in his car seat and they head back home.

AT HOME
Sophia cooks some food up for her and Troy. She ends up having a bunch of left overs so she saves them for Tonia for tomorrow. "I know this girl will eat anything. I'm going to bring it to her while I get my pedicure tomorrow." says Sophia. "Troy I think it's time for a bath since your bed time is coming up boo." Sophia states.

After Troys bath, he gets in his pajamas and Sophia does the same. They both hop into the bed, Sophia pulls out her phone like usual, and dials Tonias number.

PHONE CALL
Tonia: Hello?
Sophia: Hey, it's about that time.
Tonia: Oh, yeah it is! I didn't even realize the time.
Sophia puts the phone on speaker phone.
Tonia: Good night Troy! I love you!
Troy: Night night, love you too!
Sophia: Good night Tonia!
Tonia: Good night, love you!
Sophia: Love you too!
Sophia ends the call and next thing she knows, Troy is fast asleep. Doing this on a daily basis helps us all know that we are at home in our beds, safe and sound!
