Should I Try Again?

Emergency Room Meet Up

During the middle of the night, Troy wakes his mommy up. He's crying his eyes out. As Sophia finally wakes up, she ran to the bathroom to get the thermometer to check his temperature.

Sophia: Oh my, that is really high for your age. 102.1, yeah we're going to run to the emergency room tonight.
Troy: Monmy, I hate doctors, I don't want to be sick.
Sophia: If you don't want to be sick, we're going to have to go to see the doctor baby.
Troy starts crying more
Sophia: My poor baby.

Sophia carries Troy to the car, buckles him in and the head to the emergency room.
As soon as they checked in Sophia notices to the left of her and Troy a patient was literally bleeding nonstop and she also heard him say he's been in there for 25 minutes. Sophia thinks to her self, "I'm sorry, but if there is someone bleeding tremendously out here, don't you think they would be the first one back into the E.R?? like seriously, why does emergency rooms do this?" They called Sophia and Troy to go back in the back but Sophia does not agree with going before the make patient beside her.

Sophia: No, you guys take him back first. He's been waiting here for a long time, and don't you see him bleeding? come on now you guys, he's been here for 35 minutes!
Nurse: Umm I'm sorry to say but he never checked in with us.
Sophia looks back at the patient
Sophia: So what!! He is going to bleed himself to death, HELP HIM!
Sophia covers troys eyes so he doesn't see the nurses helping the male patient out.
Male patient: thank you so much.
Sophia: No problem.

The nurses finally call Troy and Sophia back.

The doctor told Sophia that Troy just has a little cold, it's common for younger children to run a fever that high with a cold.

Sophia was relieved and was ready to go back home to go back to sleep. All she had to do was sign discharge papers and they can leave.
As she was signing the papers, she thought to her self, " I need to see if that guy is going to be alright." She asks the nurse when she comes in there if she'd be allowed to go check on him. The nurse agreed but advised her to be quick.
The nurse tells her the room number and tells her a second time to be quick.

Sophia gets to the room and sees the male patient all stitched up. She walks over and introduces her self and tells him she just wanted to make sure they helped him out and was checking to see if he was okay! He thanked her and couldn't stop thanking her. He told her she will see him around.

Sophia and Troy finally head home and go back to sleeping like before.
