High Republic States Tunnel systems / Night / A Predator Preying
Amanda was running to several tunnels and she is completely lost, she past to at least twenty tunnels that goes to different directions and she don't know which one is the exit.
Amanda: (Running fast for dear life and looks around) Stars!! How big is this tunnel system!!
She is getting desperate and she is feeling the floor vibrating like rapid footsteps but then it stops.
Amanda: (Heart beating at 120bpm) Verdin... Please is me.... Don't hurt me I beg you! (She looks back but there's nothing, but she senses something from behind like a presence and when she turns the two yellow eyes staring at her a few meters from her) (Backing away) VERDIN!!! ITS ME!!! STOP PLEASE!!!!
Verdin: (Walking slowly to her and lowered his body to pounce on her)
Amanda: (Realize the pounce attack) AAAGHH!!!! NOO!!!! (She runs to a tunnel and Verdin proceed to go after her as he trips from the moist ground)
Verdin: (Getting up and HIIISSSSS!!!!! And charge at her)
She was sprinting as fast as she was not daring to look back because she can feel the loud footsteps of Verdin chasing her from behind. She sees a division of tunnels and chooses the right side and Verdin again for how fast he is going he trips from the humid floor and he is hurt but manage to get up and proceed to chase her again.
Amanda: (TEARS) WHERES THIS DAMN EXIT!!!
She continues to run for like one minute but she is getting exhausted and she trips from a rock and drops her orb and it shatters all that's left is faint light source from the shards. She shouldn't have dropped her Xantarian Weapon to Juvian as it could be her back up light source but she is defenseless. She doesn't have any weapon.
Amanda: (Freaking out and she is completely in pitch blackness) (TEARS Of Anxiety)
She looks with her small shard that is offering small light source and sees the entrance of a tunnel but when she was about to enter, two eyes appeared and went at her. She screamed aloud that she trips from her back and Verdin pounced on her and he was on top of her with his glowing eyes looking at her.
Amanda: (SHAKING) VERDIN!!! PLEASE DON'T!!!!
She gets up and runs to the other direction from him but it was a bad idea as Verdin immediately grab her and hold her tight immobilizing her completely.
Verdin: (Snarling in her ears feral while she is shaking and breathing hard)
Amanda: (Breathing hard in terror and crying) ITS ME!!! DON'T HURT ME PLEASE!!!
Verdin: (Loud Growl like a warning)
Amanda was shaking from fear, Verdin gets up as he is carrying her in his arms and went to a tunnel in pitch blackness while she is screaming in terror as she can't see, she has no idea is he is going to eat her.
[Cyresa POV]
Cyresa: Where's dad!? We have walk for almost like an hour!!
Rexus: No idea but hes not here, how about returning to the entrance and meet up with the others? Maybe Amanda and Gladyr found him already.
Cyresa: We must! Lets go back.
They are now returning and at least for them Cyresa with her thinking she places several small orbs to mark where they came from. They arrived at the main entrance in no less than seven minutes.
Rexus: Hey there!!
Harux: Rexus and Cyre!! You two are back!! Did you find him??
Rexus: No trace of him! Did Amanda and Gladyr returned?
Juvian: Nope! They haven't come back yet.
Cyresa: Hows the battle up there?
Harux: Is still going but they said Red League is sending a fourth damn wave!
Rexus: HOW MANY SOLDIERS THEY ARE KEEP SENDING!?
Harux: No idea but its clear they do NOT want to lose their invasion on High Republic States.
Rexus: Sarayah and Harik?
Harux: Sarayah is taking a break in here with us while Harik is flying around the skies checking the surrounding areas.
Sarayah: (Went and look down at the hole) Yeah im just taking a break with my girls here after we killed so many of them.
Alaria: A great many yeah!
Saria: I think im not hungry anymore..
Alaria: But of course you aren't! you just ate over twelve soldiers!
Saria: They choose the wrong side so I have the right to eat them!
Then Gladyr exited abruptly breathing hard.
Princess Gladyr: (Breathing hard exhausted) UGGGHHH!!!!! FINALLY!!!
Rexus: Princess!! You made it!! Wait..... Wheres Amanda??
Princess Gladyr: Guys!! We have a huge problem!! Harux I need you!!
Harux: Huh you need me? Why?
Cyresa: Wait! Yeah where's Amanda!?
Rexus: Gladyr! Is she alright!?
Princess Gladyr: Is Verdin!! Guys he....
Rexus: He what???
Cyresa: Please don't tell me he died....
Princess Gladyr: Its far worse than that Cyre....
Harux: Im concerned! What happened to Verdin!?
Princess Gladyr: Verdin turned Feral!!!
Cyresa: NOOO!!!! DON'T YOU--!!!
Rexus: AND AMANDA!?!
Princess Gladyr: She fell on a chamber that has two floors and Verdin went after her!!! Im scare!! I don't know if she's alright!!!
Rexus: (ANGRY And YELLED) FUUCK!!!!!
Harux: Ill get down there! You all stay here! (He climbed down and touches down) Lets find her now!!
Rexus: I stay!! I cant see this!!
Princess Gladyr: Then stay! And you Cy-
Cyresa: No!! Im coming with you now!! (She went and pass Gladyr and entered the tunnel)
Princess Gladyr: (Sighed) Fine! Lead the way.
They entered the tunnel in look for Amanda and Verdin.
