A few hours ago Sister Imperator had communicated the entry of a new member to the band. Now it's almost 2 am. on the first day of Autumn, there's one hour left to perform the ritual and summon the new ghoulette; so the Nameless Ghouls are in charge of the preparations for the big event. They had to prepare the place, so each one of them brought different necessary materials such as candles, an Athame (it's a ceremonial dagger), a silver chalice, some bones... you get the idea.
The Nameless Ghouls head one after the other into the dark and gloomy catacombs of the Ministry. The cold air collides with their necks, which are covered by a thin cloth but not by their masks (btw let's imagine they have Prequelle masks, they are iconic and are my favorites 😔).
They only illuminate their way with lit torches, because this part of the ministry has no lights and it's night time. The floor is dusty since it is an area that is not frequented and they can hear rats running and squeaking om every corner. The flames of their torches dance as the wind from the hallway threatens to snuff them out.
They arrive and stand in front of a stone door. It doesn't have a lock or anything, just a hole with a singular silhouette in the center. Papa IV puts the necklace with the logo of the band in the hole, it fits perfectly. They feel a small tremor in the floor and the door unlocks, giving them access to the inside.
As the door opens, a strong breeze collides with them and blows out their torches leaving them without lights until Sister Imperator lights the chandeliers in the room, the ghouls help her.
«Well it is time...right, Papa?» Sister said, looking at him with a serious stare.
«Sure it is, Sister... uhm...» he plays with his hands, hesitant as he looks the other way.
«Then, start already!!» Sister said, losing patience. « There is no time to lose! »
«Uh.. right, right...» Papa shakes his head, still hesitating. «Allright then guys, let's get going or we will miss the opportunity!» he says a little nervous.
The Nameless Ghouls nod silently. Mountain draws a pentagram on the ground with chalk, Cyrrus and Cumulus place the small animal bones following Mountain's drawing.
Sunshine places the candles at each point of the star of the pentagram while Sodo lights the candles with fire sparks coming out from his fingertips (cause he's the fire ghoul, how creative 👀).
As Papa approaches the rostrum, Aether brings him an old and dusty book, it contains the summons of specific demons and ghouls. Rain brings Papa a chalice, it is filled with a reddish liquid (It could be wine, who knows?).
Swiss carves a sigil with the Athame on the floor (the sigil that Sister Imperator indicated; it corresponds to the future new member they want to summon) and then pass the dagger to each ghoul, who are standing around the pentagram.
(TW! Self Harm!!)
Each ghoul uses the sharp dagger to contribute and give some of their non-human blood to make the ritual work. Then, the last ghoul that uses it leaves the Athame upside down (it looks like an upside down cross, similar to the Ghost logo). They hold hands and together with Papa IV begin to recite some verses in Latin. (💀 I'm writting all of this while listening to "Ritual").
Everyone feels a tremor on the ground, and from the room they could heard that a storm is beginning to form, as it begins to rain heavily and the thunders accompany the chants in Latin. Flashes from lightning enter through the small stained glass windows, making the scene look rather gloomy (Simlar to the Square Hammer music video).
A flash of light appears in the middle of the pentagram, blinding them all. Suddenly the storm stops and they hear a sweet female voice. «You have summoned me and I have come to your call to fulfill my mission...» The Nameless Ghouls regain their sight but then...
«Wait, wait... Y/N?» Said Rain in a confused tone, looking at the female ghoul in front of him.
The new ghoulette looks into Rain's eyes just as confused as him. «...Brother?»
The room sinks into silence.
