Chapter 4: Chapter 4: Baiting Kurapika

"Now, onto the matter at hand, The conditions are you can never harm or use Nen against Ginei Ryodan and you can never leave Ryodan unless I, say you can."

"What did you do? What is happening here Kuroro?" Kurapika said in a low calm yet seething voice.

"I shall explain." Kuroro said nonchalantly, amusement at the core of his voice, "While you were recovering, your friends and I came to an agreement. He," Kuroro stared briefly at Leorio before returning his gaze to Kurapika who was standing protectively in front of Leorio, "agreed to be pierced with the restriction to save your life. Naturally, you can break the conditions and die at your own risk just so you could execute your revenge. After Pakunoda, I found out that people can be led to do crazy things when there's only themselves involved. I know that you consider his life more important than yours. So I made him agree, to that condition."

Kurapika's hands fisted in anger, "Kuso!"

"Do you want to hear what Senritsu agreed to?" Kurapica stood frozen in front of Leorio and Kuroro smiled "I'll take that as a yes then. You can't kill yourself or commit suicide." Kurapika's eyes widened, it was his last resort, if all else becomes unbearable it would certainly be his only salvation,

"You don't deserve that privilege. Once you die and the cause of death is inflicted by you, the dagger will pierce his heart." Kuroro said, his words sharp and cool. "You should also know, once they attempt to escape, they die. We are not done yet. You have yet to be restricted yourself."

"Or what?" Kurapica asked, not as a challenge but he wanted to know, wanted to be sure of the consequences.

"Or they die." At that moment, Kurapika could do nothing but bow his head down.

Kuroro raised his hand to summon the chain, Kurapika knew the sound too well and he could do nothing at the moment but to bend to their rules,

"The rules will be as follows: One, you can never harm or use Nen against Ginei Ryodan." Kurapika bit his lips back before he can say anything he'd regret. Kuroro proceeded,

"Two, you can never, ever, leave Ginei Ryodan unless I, Kuroro Lucifer, tells you that you can."

Everyone was silent, with his head still lowered, refusing to let them see what he felt through his face he said, his voice devoid of any emotion.

"Yes, I agree." Kurapika said in a clear, confident voice.
