I couldn't sleep at all that night. I just kept pacing around my room, overthinking the shit I normally did, but today, my mind was engulfed in one topic.

Nagito Komaeda.

I genuinely do not know what goes on in his psychopathic mind. He's definitely somewhat insane. To be completely honest however, he is surprisingly good at solving cases.. he'll probably make it out of here alive, I don't think anyone left would kill him.

I feel like he's planning something.. Usually, he'll talk a lot during the trials, but during Gundham's? He barely spoke. That isn't normal.

What did he find in the octagon?

I feel like he didn't tell us everything, well obviously he didn't, he's not that type of person to reveal the truth that easily.

And before I know it, the announcement goes off.

》Ahem.. Hopes Peak Academy's School Trip Executive Committee has an announcement to make...

》Goooood morning, everyone! Looks like today's going to be another perfect, tropical day!

》Now then, let's show some enthusiasm and make sure to give it our all today!

That same recording, playing every morning. I hate it. What a joke.

I'm beyond sick of this killing.. game if you can even call it that.

I slowly get ready for the day, preparing to see everyone in the hotel restaurant yet again, 2 more people down..
Just  7 of us left.. I miss them.

As I head to the restaurant, I can't help but wonder..

Was that the last trial..? Are we done..?

I don't even know anymore. I just want to go home. I miss my family.

I sit down in one of the seats in the restaurant, resting my head on the table.

I glance around the room..

I look over to Akane and can't help but feel bad, she's sitting down, barely eating, looking like she's going to begin sobbing uncontrollably at any moment.

Sonia is sat next to Akane, hugging her slightly and trying to cheer her up, I can't tell if it's working. She's trying to get her to eat something. She looks really upset too, but she doesn't want to show it. We can't hear their conversation as it is just whispers.

Fuyuhiko is situated near the door, leaning against a wall, avoiding eye contact from anyone. I should probably leave him alone. 

Chiaki is sat down on a small sofa near the back of the room, playing on her Nintendo, probably trying to distract herself from everything that's happening.

...

Nagito is stood up, deep in thought. I don't even know what goes on in his mind. I honestly don't care anymore.

I snap back into reality when Kazuichi enters the restaurant, surprisingly energetic (for this time of day, atleast).

》"Look at what I made!!" He grins, holding up a tiny robot.

This gets everyone's attention, so we all look up.

》"Huh..?" Akane starts, but is quickly interrupted by Kazuichi.

》"I managed to salvage some scraps from Mechomaru-! I- I made this, it's like a tiny version of him..!"

We all stare in amazement, I forgot he was the Ultimate Mechanic.

》"Woah.." Chiaki pauses for a second, "Does it have a consciousness like Mechomaru?!?"

She gets up, eager to find out more. So does everyone else, apart from Akane and.. Nagito.

Akane is frozen in shock, I get that but why is Nagito not looking? He's just stood there, deep in thought.

》"I-Im not really sure, uhm it sorta repeats what you say.. in his voice. Isn't that cool?"

》//ISNT THAT COOL?\\  The robot repeats, intriguing us even more, it sounds just like Mechomaru!

》"Oh my!" Sonia whispers

》"What the-" Fuyuhiko starts, amazed

Akane walks towards Kazuichi.

》"Can I keep it..?" She asks quietly, not sure whether he would give it to her.

》"Sure! I thought it would be nice to have a memory of him" Kazuichi carefully passes the robot over to Akane.

Akane holds the robot close to her, almost like a hug

》"Thank you, Kazuichi, I'll take perfect care of.. "

》"Minimaru!" Chiaki blurts out suddenly. "Ah! Sorry ahaha, it might be a good name"

》"I like it!" Akane and Kazuichi say in unison, then laughing about it.

I shift my attention over to Nagito, hes just.. staring at us? Okay..
What is wrong with him..?

Monomi suddenly appears, startling us all but we soon relax again.

》"I.. I did it!!" She sighs, stroking  her ear "You may all now go to the final island!"

We all jolt up, either from shock or joy, or both. Some smiles can be seen across the room.

She then disappears, leaving us in the restaurant.

》"Shall we go then?" Sonia asks, looking at us for approval.

》"Of course, Sonia!" Kazuichi beams, basically with love hearts in his eyes.

Sonia quickly dismisses him to explore with Chiaki and Akane.

Fuyuhiko and Nagito both walk off, then Kazuichi runs up to them.

I chuckle slightly, he needs to calm down..!

I decide to go alone, so I can properly investigate everything in detail.

This will be interesting..
