Chapter three: Future Luna

"Who is it?" Asked Derek from the bed not wanting to get up.

"Knock, knock, knock." No one is talking just knocking.

Derek rolls out of bed and puts his robe on, walks over to the door and opens it. Once the door was open tons of reporters come rushing in, snapping photos and yelling questions.

"Derek? Derek? Where have you been this whole time?" One reporter asked.

"Who is that with you Derek?" Asked another reporter.

Logan comes out of the crowd, walks over to Derek who was still standing in his robe in the middle of the room.

"You guys now have your way out. They are here for the future king." He said.

Everything went by so fast. Derek and I packed all of the little things we had here, and we left. I wish that I could have seen my parents. We left the nightmare behind with my parents still locked inside. We got to the car, well more like a limo, the driver was staring at me.

"Hey, she is mine!" Snapped Derek.

"Yes sir. To the palace Mr. Derek?" Asked the driver. Derek looked at me for reassurance.

"Yes." I say to the driver.

At the palace there are reporters, press, news to announce the return of the prince. We walk in and standing in the foyer was the king and queen. They run up to us and pull Derek into a hug. I step to the side and let this reunion happen, I would want this same reaction for my parents.

"Oh my god! Dere is that really you? You look so handsome, just like your father." Said the queen.

"Son, I can't believe it's really you." Said the king. They slowly step away from Derek, the queen looks at me.

"Who is this?" She asked.

"This is Charolette, my mate." Says Derek turning to me and grabbing my hand.

"Well, hello there Charolette. My name is Ivana I'm the packs Luna and the queen of the country. She says.

"And my name is Ethan the packs Alpha. Welcome to our home where you will soon rule." Said the king.

"I know you two have had a long journey, the maids will take you to your room, clean up and get ready supper will be ready soon." Said the queen.

"Oh and Charolette, follow me, I have something for you."

I follow her to a room full of dresses and gowns for balls and parties. She looks at some dresses then back at me then back at the dresses. She reaches for a dress that is floor length royal blue dress with gold sequence. It also has a train that follows.

"Here, wear this. Consider this a welcome gift from me. Do you know what happened to my son? I assume you must know since you are his mate." She said.

"Well, he said he was taken when he was 7. I know who took him. He is my ex-boyfriend. I didn't know that until he had taken me 3 days ago. He is a human hunter and his family, and I didn't meet a year ago. Derek said that his parents and him had Derek the whole time." I say.

"Derek told me that they needed him to track down bounties. When we dated, I never told him that I was a werewolf, then he kidnapped me, and my family. That's how Derek and I met. It's only been 3 days." I told the queen.

"Oh baby, I'm so sorry." She said as she pulled me into a hug.

It feels weird to be back here, it's been so long I don't really remember anything from this place.

"This is your room." Said a maid.
