Chapter 20: Bad. Nicky. Really Bad.

Emmett, Kyle and I didn't waste a second before we began to devour the pizza boxes before us. But as I was eating my 4th slice of pizza something dawned on me. So I turned to Kyle and gave him a questioning look.

"You know Kyle... Not that I'm complaining or anything. But how did you pay for all of this?" I asked gesturing to the pizza boxes. But Kyle immediately froze from eating his slice

"I... was suppose to pay for these?" He asked in shock and that's when Emmett chose to engage in the conversation

"Wait, are you telling me you didn't pay for these?" He asked with amusement lacing every word

"Emmett it's not funny! Kyle how did you even manage to get these?" I ask him again

"Well, the pizza guy walked in, and put the boxes on the table then he walked back to the front of the door and held out his hand..." He trailed off biting his nails

"Okay? and then what?" I ask him again

"I gave him a piece of gum, said thank you and shut the door." He said hesitantly

"Kyle! You didn't pay for these?!" I ask in shock

"No?" He replied nervously

"Kyle! Thi-"

"Oh my god! This is golden! You gave him a piece of gum?! Nicky! His face must've been priceless!" Emmett cuts me off and laughs obnoxiously loud

"Great. Now I have to call the pizza company and pay for it." I mumble

"Nicky?" Kyle asks and when I look down at him he looks like he's going to break down

"Yes Hun?" I ask worriedly

"D-do y-you h-hate me?" He asks as tears start to fall down his cheeks

"Oh baby no!" I say suddenly and bring him towards me so I can hug him

"I will never hate you Ky." I say and soothe him

"Really?" He asks as his head is resting on my shoulder

"Never." I say finally and I feel him nod

I stand up and begin to walk towards the kitchen whilst still carrying Kyle. Grabbing the kitchen phone I dial pizza hut.

"Hello this is pizza hut, Joe speaking" A peppy voice answers

"Hey Joe, so um. My 7 year old brother ordered an enormous amount of pizzas earlier..." I trailed off

"Oh you mean the younger boy who didn't pay!" He said remembering

"Yeah... Um how do I fix that?" I ask nervously

"Don't worry about it, I know a thing or two about how younger siblings are. He's still learning. I'll take care of it just next time make sure one of you pays for the pizza!" he jokes

"Oh my god thank you!" I say gratefully, I mean it's not like we can't pay for it, I'm just really glad I don't have to drive all the way to pizza hut and pay.

"Don't worry about it. Have a nice night now." Joe says kindly

"You too. Thank you again. Bye" I say and hang up

"Looks like Joe saved you're tiny little butt Ky" I say and look at my shoulder to see a sleeping Kyle

I walk Kyle up to his room and put him on his bed. Then head down the stairs to put the pizza's away.

"What are we going to do with all of this pizza?" I ask myself

"You can make a huge pizza man!" Emmett answers behind me, taking me by surprise
