Act XXIV
Astro wins!!!!!!
Aris' heart fell of joy for him, everyone starts to clap and congratulate him as he motions for all his friends and team to come up, Aris' stands and astro puts his hand on her shoulder firmly and looks at her. She sits back down and they all walk up together.
He gives a small speech, he doesn't say much just that hes thankful and he does it for his fans. They get off the stage and lots of people shake his hand and congratulate him on his way back to the table. He looks at Aris and smiles, she slightly smiles back and he squeezes her hand so she smiles harder with teeth.
He whispers to her "we gon talk"
"and for now dont say shit to anyone else"
he says sternly. she nods her head looking at him with wide eyes.
"im happy for you" she says back in a light voice with a smile showing no teeth. he smiles at her and looks back at everyone else to talk.
The rest of the night felt good, they excitedly cheer for others and meet lots of new people. people were wondering who Aris was. asking if she was his girlfriend and what happened to draya. Astro keeps it brief calling her his studio intern.
The journalist from earlier comes up to Aris introducing herself as Gigi.
Gigi: you ran from me earlier! I had to come catch you!
Aris: I knowwww I'm sorry... I didn't wanna talk on camera...
Gigi: aw! That's okay girl! I understand your new around here!
Aris: yea I feel a little out of place *awkward laugh* i dont know.... I think it was just a mistake coming...he should've brought draya i keep getting all these dirty looks from girls I don't know...I feel like I don't belong...
Gigi: what?? Don't think like that! Who hea n who at home watchin?? Oh...Okayyyy.
*Aris laughs and hugs her*
Gigi: seriously I would've done you some good press...me and Astro are good friends...I never liked draya. She was a raging bitch! *she laughs*
Aris: uh huh...yea ... *aris fakes laughs*
Gigi: but SERIOUSLY...here's my card...I'd love to do an interview I could make you the hottest bitch out in London! Look me up I have millions of views!
Aris: well, I'm an artist. I'm not just Astros "sneaky link" *slight laugh* , i'd wanna talk about that....
Gigi: oh WOW! Great! we can cover it all! It was nice to meet you....ari is it?
Aris: aris...
*she hugs aris and walks off going to talk to someone else*
When the shows over, Astro walks amongst the room and greets more people, introducing himself, and making new connections. Aris is rolling out of her mind just observing everyone and smiling at people with a brief greetings. Some people come up to her to get her contact information for the paintings, it was traveling by word of mouth. That made her smile each time someone asked.
When they start walking out they all follow astro to the car. Aris can tell he has an attitude as his face turns mean and quiet as they walk out like he flipped a switch in his brain. he slams the door once inside. Aris feels the tension, she doesn't speak afraid it'll cause an argument....Silly her, it didn't matter what she did, they were gonna argue.
astro: so....are you like....just a drug addict?
*Aris gasps and rolls her eyes*
Aris: what? now? *she questions*
astro: actually never- never mind dont....answer that
Aris: um...we WERE having a good time!
astro: na just you.
Aris: so you didnt enjoy yourself?
astro: not when i picked a crack whore to come.
Aris: so i ruined the night? its me? and not the fact theres always drugs around? everyone was doing it!
astro: dra' never did drugs, she knew her limit!
Aris: ok....?
Aris' response makes astro even angrier. He starts yelling at her claiming shes using him. She yells back how she has no idea how shes using him if he gives it to her. He yells at her saying she would never deserve to be on the same stage as him because she's a "junkie." A tear slips from her eye ignoring him feeling like he's right. Astro keeps speeding up and he's going 125.....150....200....221 MPH on the backroads. Astro has his foot pressed all the way down on the gas and isn't intending to let up. The car is going at full speed, Aris' heart is pumping like it'll pop out her chest, she thinks they'll crash. Dom and Trap are looking at eachother nervously.
Dom texts trap
Dom: im just pray ..
Trap: mashallah
Aris screams at him to slow down and he stops the car eruptly, jerking them all back.
