"What am I going to do now, Ganke?" Miles shouted, the smell of his fear rising.

Ganke panicked; he didn't know what to tell Miles.

"I don't know, man!" Ganke said, "How many weeks ago, exactly?"

Miles swallowed a lump in his throat, hesitant to say.

"Around three months ago-"

"You're already one-third of the way there; you haven't told anyone?!" Ganke shouted at Miles

He took and deep breath and sat next to Miles.

"We could have an abortion," Ganke said, completely out of ideas.

"Where are we going to get the money?" Miles asked.

Miles' eyes showed Ganke that he had lost all hope. He looked at his watch, already set for Earth-42.

"I could take out Earth-42, so I can't return," Miles said, "But then I have to deal with the baby,"

"We should at least tell your parents, man," Ganke said.

Miles wanted to say no, but he knew Ganke was right. He wanted his parents to understand the truth, but he was terrified. Miles didn't intend for them to assume Miles orchestrated it, but it was the optimal solution given the past circumstances. He sighed as tears flooded his eyes, and his lip quivered.

"Okay," Miles said, "but when?"

"I think right now is the best time," Ganke said.

Miles let out a shaky sigh as he got up with Ganke. They left the dorm once again. Miles felt off as soon as he exited as if someone was stalking him, watching his every move. As they walked down the hallway, Miles could hear someone following them. He tried to turn around to see, but someone knocked him out. Ganke looked at him in fear as Miles fell to the floor. He looked around and immediately attended to Miles. He shouted, attempting to wake Miles, but he was out cold. Ganke tried to lift Miles and take him back to the dorm, but before he knew it-

He was out cold.

Ganke was the first to awake. His eyes darted around the room. It was an abandoned building; with cobwebs and trash scattered everywhere. While tied to a pole, Ganke kept searching for another person. His eyes met with Miles, and his hands were tied, but he had more freedom than Ganke. Ganke thought they were the only ones there, but his instinct told him otherwise. He tried to focus his hearing, but his head was aching with pain. Shortly after, Miles woke up too. Miles sat up immediately and looked around, noticing Ganked tied to the pole.

He stood up and tried to untie his friend to save him, but a mysterious figure suddenly attacked and pinned Miles to the ground. A sense of dread made Ganke's heart drop; while a sense of fear rode through Miles' body. Miles could recognize the scent from a mile away. It was the Prowler. Miles quickly glanced at his bound wrists and noticed his watch was missing. The Prowler held out his wrist, indicating that he had taken Miles' watch and put it on himself. Miles cursed and diverted his attention to Ganke, who looked terrified.

"I told you to come back," The Prowler said, his voice distorted due to the mask.

"I needed to do something," Miles lied, looking at Prowler.

"An attempted abortion?" The Prowler said.

It dawned on Miles that Prowler followed him when he left. He had forgotten that his spider senses don't work on him, leaving him oblivious to stalking.
