Miles followed Uncle Aaron up the stairs to the roof. He tried to hide the scent that he reeked. Miles forgot to take the heat suppressants that his mom slipped him during their talk, leaving them somewhere in New York on his Earth. His scent was so strong that he noticed his uncle responded to it. He glitched, his body in an array of pain; he tried to fight it, playing it off as he walked onto the roof.

He looked around as he took in the surrounding; the fire, the smoke, the chaos, and his father's portrait in the same place as Uncle Aaron's portrait.

"There's no Spiderman here," Miles said to himself.

The miserable aura from Earth-42 started to take effect. Miles felt his heart and stomach sink to the lowest parts of his body. He looked at Uncle Aaron slowly, trying to figure out how to escape this. Before he knew it, he was out cold.

Miles woke up, his eyes fluttering to his surroundings. He looked at the chains, out the window, then his uncle. Uncle Aaron was standing, already looking at him. His eyes tried to adjust to the new scenery.

"Where am I-"

Miles tried to speak, but he glitched once more. The chains kept him against the punching bag as his body ached in pain. Uncle Aaron began to lift the punching bag.

"I'm- okay- listen-" Miles stammered over his words in confusion and fear.

He couldn't see his uncle, covered by shadows, and could only see his eyes. His heart raced as his uncle walked in his direction.

"You gotta understand, I'm not from here," Miles tried to explain, "I'm from an entirely different dimension,"

The electricity surged in his hands. His heart started to race even faster.

"Wait, wait- pl- please," Miles said, "I got sent here by mistake- Uncle Aaron- wa-wa-wa-wa-wait- Uncle Aaron!"

He didn't know if his uncle intended to hurt him or anything worse. He held his breath as Uncle Aaron swung the punching bag. The sigh of relief left only fear in his body. He had forgotten about his scent that reeked the entire room. As Miles swung around, Uncle Aaron put on music that would be considered chill for any situation besides this. Miles took a deep breath, calming himself down.

"Please, Uncle Aaron," Miles said, trying to reason, "Just- hear me out,"

Uncle Aaron was paying no mind to Miles, putting the volume up. Miles scoffed, desperately trying to reason.

"I was bit by a spider that gave me powers," Miles said, closing his eyes as if he was embarrassed, "It wasn't supposed to bite me; it was supposed to bite someone else- someone from here,"

Uncle Aaron still didn't look at Miles, ignoring him.

"I don't belong here; I need to go home, okay?" Miles said, a tone of desperation in his voice.

He continued, even if there was no sign of difference in the atmosphere.

"I have an Uncle Aaron- I had," Miles said, "he was a bad guy called the Prowler,"

Uncle Aaron put on a glove similar, if not the same, as the Prowler's in Earth-1610.

"He looked out for me; he did a lot of bad things, but I knew he wanted to be good," Miles continued, a small smile appearing on his face, "he just didn't have a choice, but you do!"

If it was even possible, Miles' body tensed up more.

"You could be a good guy," Miles said.

He thought he was getting through to Uncle Aaron.
