"Why are we even here?" Kyle complains, red hair flying everywhere in the wind. The forest is dark, trees swaying from side to side as the moon peeks through branches here and there. The only other light sources are the flashlights they all have clutched in their hands.
"Shut up, Kahl, you're being negative." Eric's voice speaks up from the front of their group. He's the one who dragged them all out here, leading them away deep into the woods. He said he'd found something interesting and wanted them to see.
Kyle refused at first, convinced that Cartman was just fucking with them and would do something bad like he alway does.
But then Kenny has said yes because he couldn't care less, and of course Butters had agreed. Stan had been slightly more hesitant, but had shrugged and said, "Why not? Good excuse not to be home."
So, Kyle had reluctantly agreed as well because Stan was going. What's the worse that could happen?
Kyle huffs, sticking his hands in the pockets of his orange jacket. The wind bites at his skin sending shivers through his body. It's cold, and he wants to go home. He needs to study for the test tomorrow as well.
"Are we soon there, Eric?" Butters lifts his head from staring at the grass as they walk to looking over at the leader of their group. "It's getting pretty chilly out.." He adds hesitantly, as if afraid.
"It's just ahead." Cartman points forward, a grin forming on his face.
Stan adjusts the straps around his shoulder, grimacing at the weight. He'd insisted on taking the heaviest backpack, now starting to regret the decision.
Cartman had told them to pack food and water, whilst Stan packed firewood and other necessities, just in case they needed it. Thankfully Kyle brought Stan's food for him, so he had one less thing to carry.
"Is that it?" Kenny muffles, gesturing forward.
Eric flashes his light where Kenny had mentioned, lighting up a small part of the forest ahead. The light reflects on something silver, shimmering back at them.
Kyle squints, annoyed. "What is that?"
"I don't know." Cartman shrugs. "That's why you guys are here."
"I swear, if it's just a piece of junk-"
"It's not." Stan interrupts. He walks forward, leaving Kyle's side to stand beside Cartman in the front. "Woah, dude. Looks kinda like a door."
Sticking up from the ground is a small, square box with a silver door. It's small, could maybe fit two of them or one Cartman.
"That's what I thought!" Eric exclaims, "And I want to open it."
"No way." Kyle says, suddenly standing right next to Stan. "We don't know what's in there."
"Exactly! It'll be fun!" Eric says.
"It can't hurt." Kenny shrugs, "Seems harmless."
"Fine, whatever." Kyle crosses his arms, "But if we get in trouble I'm blaming you, fatass."
That sentence leads to mild bickering between the two, while Stan walks forward to examine the door. He could try to break it open with something, or maybe find a key...
Kenny and Butters join him as well. "Any idea how to open it?" Kenny asks.
"I did bring a knife.." Stan thinks out loud. The knife was for emergencies, but this could count. "We could try to break it open with it."
"Maybe. But that would leave evidence. I don't think we should leave a mark." Kyle says, having walked away from Eric before starting a fight.
"We could try to find a key?" Butters suggests, pointing to the lock.
"Or kick it." Kenny adds with a toothy grin.
"That would leave even more of a mark though." Kyle says.
"Who fucking cares?" Cartman steps in between Stan and Kyle, ignoring the death glares he receives. "I say we just destroy it." He adds.
How do they open the door?
A: Find a key.
B: Use Stan's knife.
C: Kick it.
D: Other (comment).—
Hope you guys find this cool! I'll only continue if it gets enough attention, or else it won't really work as planned.
