                          You may think you know all about fairy tales. From 'Once upon a time' to the 'happily ever after,' things go just about as you'd expect. That's not what you'll find in this collection of forgotten fairy tales, updated and retold as a series of short stories filled with magic, mystery, wonder, and more than a little insanity.
                          Many of these stories were originally collected in Andrew Lang's Fairy Books. These books are in the public domain and available for free online. Where possible, the source of the original story will be posted at the beginning for those wishing to track down the older version.
