I woke up from a loud banging coming from my door. I let out a loud groan and pick up my phone. It's fucking 2 in the morning!
"Who would knock in a dormitory at two in the morning? Jesus!"
"Knock! Knock! Knock!"
"Wait up! Dont knock my door down. I just moved in!" I walk to the door still feeling dizzy and not caring how I look.
Opening it, a girl about 23 or 24 stand in front of me with perfect blonde curls, ocean blue eyes surrounded by thick natural lashes and lips like snow white's. I suddenly regret not even combing my hair before i open the door. "Thank God girl you finally open! I've been knocking since forever! You are a freaking heavy sleeper!" Followed by a carefree-still-finesse chuckle.
But before I respond, I remembered that this lady cut my sleep which I will most probably won't gain back. "Ok. Who are you? And why are you knocking on my door at 2am? Who knocks at 2 in the morning?!"
"Me" she answered rather cheerfully. "I'm claudia. Im a senior student here and probably the eldest in this building. I just heard there was a newbie which is you so i wonder if you would like to go to this party? Like, it's a welcome party for the freshmen and it's not a must miss so, would you like to come? You'll definitely enjoy it!" She smiled even bigger than the zipper of my travelling bag. God this girl speaks way too fast.
"I'm sorry bu-"
"Please? It's gonna be fun. I'm one of the organizers and i swear you'll like it there." She cut me off with her sped up words.
"On a monday?" She nodded.
I let out a sigh " look miss claudia, i am not a party girl. And i know that that's the red cups, smokes, loud music, drunk people grinding with each other type of party and i dont like that. So i'm sorry I cant come"
She looked defeated for a second but asked one more time. "C'mon it's a welcome party. No seniors are gonna bully anyone. It's for you freshmen." I just looked at her. Admiring her convincing power. She really want me to attend this wow.
"Now look, its just a party. There's gonna be a lot of this now you're in college. At least you'll have introduction to it. One party wont hurt."
"You really want me to come do you? You wont give me peace until i say yes."
"U-huh." She nodded and grinned. She knew she already have the upper wheel in this arguememt.
I let out a defeated sigh. "Ok fine."
"Great!" She almost screamed. "I'll wait for you at the lobby. Wear something that represents you. Wear your style." She wink and went down.
I closed my door and started rambling on my closet. "I should've brought party dresses"
Wear something that represents you. Wear your style.
I picked up my sleeveless pale yellow croptop with the word babe in front of it, my high waist plaid-ripped shorts, my dark brown doc mart boots and my strechable fake-braid head dress and wore it like a crown. I just brushed my hair a bit to make the natural messy look, put on eyeliner. I love eyeliner, a bit of mascara, and kissable pink lipstick. Of course i brushed my teeth then i went down grabbing my black pouch.
When i reached the lobby, "wow! You are one hot freshmen"
I chuckled a simple thanks and said "now you're making me think that you are a lesbian. Hahah"
"Woah woah woah hold on right there. Im not a lesbian or a tomboy. I'm a girl. A straight girl. And im engaged" she showed off her engagement ring and smiled.
