At the abandoned plant, Tony's rage fueled every step as he stalked the dusty hallways, pistol clenched tight. Every cracked tile and rusted machine only amplified his fury.
Rounding a corner, he spotted Vinny up ahead. Their eyes locked with hatred across the space. Without hesitation, Tony raised his gun and fired off two rounds.
Vinny yelped as a bullet grazed his arm, the other pinging off metal dangerously close to his head. Scrambling backwards, he turned and fled further into the maze of the facility.
Tony took off in pursuit, not letting his volatile cousin get away this time. He chased Vinny up rickety stairwells and along catwalks, their footsteps echoing in the cavernous building.
Finally emerging onto the facility's upper levels, Tony saw Vinny had run to a dead end at the edge of a towering cliff overlooking the churning ocean below.
Trapped and out of breath, Vinny slowly turned to face his vengeful cousin for the climactic showdown.
The wind whipped around Tony and Vinny as they faced off at the cliff's edge, the pounding surf far below the only sound.
Vinny says "you know cousin, it was never up to me. i was only told to make your life hard and sad to the point you would switch to the mob life but you know what? it was GREAT seeing you cry-"
Rage flashed in Tony's eyes. With swift precision he raised his pistol and fired, putting a bullet directly between Vinny's eyes.
His cousin's body crumpled to the ground, the light leaving his eyes. Justice was served.
But Tony felt no satisfaction. All he felt was a deep, hollow emptiness that would remain long after this bitter chapter closed.
He'd embraced his dark destiny by taking a life with his own hands. There was no going back from that now. Tony was fully blooded into the criminal underworld forevermore...
A dramatic climax to Tony's initiation. With Vinny gone, where will his journey lead from here?
With Vinny's death, a numbness settled over Tony as he stared out at the crashing waves far below the cliff. All he could think was how easy it would be to just...let go.
His hands gripped the guns edge as bitter memories flooded him - Maria's smile, their love now forever silenced. And in pulling that trigger, Tony had murdered the small part of himself that still clung to innocence.

What was left for him now but this cold, criminal life? It would be so simple to end it all, to join Maria in eternal peace from the pain and darkness he'd brought upon them both.
Tony leaned forward unconsciously, the roar of the surf beckoning him closer to the gun's edge. But then a thought cut through the fog - Marco's stern voice echoing that the family always comes first.
With a heavy heart, Tony stepped back from the fatal precipice. Taking his own life would only dishonor Maria's memory and the oath he'd made. He had to find purpose in this new existence, no matter the personal cost.
The only direction left was deeper into the criminal underworld's depths. Tony steeled his resolve, turning his face away from the gun as a new chapter of his life began in shadows...
